I bought the V15 model and was so disappointed that you have to keep your finger on the on button while using. I just assumed that you wouldn’t have to do this.

Love this vacuum!

This vacuum is lightweight and I love that it's cordless. We replaced our previous Dyson cordless with the V15. It has some really nice features such as the dust detecting light on one of the suction bars. I also like that it automatically adjusts to how much dirt is being sucked up. I like the display that shows the run time and type of dirt being captured. We've never hit 60 minutes of run time on the display, but we have a small house and I'm not going to vacuum for an hour anyway. We were at first confused by the crevice tool that fits into the wand, but a call to Dyson got us on track. This vacuum is definitely an upgrade over our old one. We got a great deal on it too, so we're happy with the purchase.

Disappointed…too hard to push on carpet

The vacuum is very hard to push on carpeted areas and rugs. My area rugs push out of place due to the heavy suction instead of the vacuum gliding on top. I bought it solely for its light weight and ease of maneuverability, but have been extremely disappointed. Would not purchased had I know about this issue. My beloved old V11 started having issues with the motor pulsating so definitely wanted another Dyson but the new V15 Absolutely doesn’t compare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Incredible Vacuum Except...

This is the best performing vacuum I've ever used. It is amazing on pet hair. The optic feature for floors works incredibly well. It's light, quiet, and easy to use. Two problems:
- The carpet tool stops spinning on thick carpets. You have to stop a restart the vacuum constantly to get it spinning again.
- The canister capacity is worse than a pregnant woman's bladder. You have to empty this thing every 90 seconds. They could have supplied twice the capacity and still maintained a good weight and balance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Suction!!!

This is my second Dyson vac. The first one is a V6 Pet. It’s about 12 to 14 years old. This new V15 is great. Super suction!!! It’s a little pricey but worth the money knowing it will perform beyond the next 10+ years

We returned our v12 and got this because of various reasons. We were surprised when we realized you had to manually hold the trigger down while vacuuming. My husband is a wheelchair user and this is not very efficient for him. And it is honestly quite annoying. Also the charging platform that you hang the vacuum on is quite flimsy. For the price I would expect something sturdier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
