I dont like this vaccum as much as I like the old one. The battery does not last on carpeted surfaces as long as my old one and the suction is unberable for certain areas of the carpettting.

I love two heads, one for floors the other for car

I have had 2 Dyson cordless vacuums for over 17 years. One we used in a our travel trailer and the other in our condo. Both did EXCELLENT at picking up, with the 15-20 minute run time, with no dust flying in the air, and the ease of dumping the dirt. This new Dyson is unbelievable, 60 min run time, the suction is great and the lights indicating dirt is EYE OPENING. That might not be for everyone, but I love it. since we have a dog that sheds!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've had the V15 for just a few weeks, our second Dyson vac. The first one (a V10 Animal) lasted about 7 years. The V15 is more powerful and seems more effective on both carpet and hardwood. I thought the 'green light' sounded gimmicky but it really helps on bare floors. No problems with runtime. It's heavier than the V10 but still pretty easy to manage. Canister capacity is excellent. Would have been nice if the old charging/accessory stand fit the new one, but not a big deal. Overall, highly recommend.

I have gone from vacuuming whenever I feel like it (way too long between cleans) to using this every day. It is top-loaded heavy, but you get used to it after a while. I like that it only runs an hour, so I don’t feel like I need to do the whole house in one pass. I pick a few rooms, then I move on with my day. Also, it’s so easy to empty, it’s actually enjoyable. Love this purchase. It’s better suction than my old standard upright.

I just opened it today and on a 20% battery, the suction was great! I vacuumed just half my living room, bedroom, and entrance to my bedroom and the debris it picked up was shocking, as I had vacuumed the day before! I could actually feel the difference from my other Dyson stick vac. I believe it is the V9 and I loved that one as well, but this one beats it! I am happy! I don’t know how the runtime will do as I haven’t charged it fully and am doing that now. It is quite heavier than my V9, as it has a bigger head and and dirt cup, and the “engine” is larger, probably weighing it down, making it harder to maneuver, but I am 😊 happy!

I thought my hardwood floors were clean before I used the Dyson V15. I was WRONG. The Dyson REALLY cleaned my floors. It's easy to use for hard-to-reach corners and baseboards. As a retiree, I cannot afford to hire housekeeping services, but when I saved up to buy the Dyson, I now know it is a good investment for independent living.

Upgraded to this from a V8, and the suction is far better. The adaptive suction is also helpful and I can hear and feel the motor increasing suction as I go over more heavily soiled areas. The only issues I have encountered are when vacuuming lightweight rugs, as even in the lowest setting with the brush head suction manually adjusted lower, there is simply too much suction which pulls the rug into the brush. That being said, I have gone over carpeted areas with the V15 that I previously got with the V8, and pulled out a ton more dust and dog fur that the V8 hadn’t gotten.
