Have only had the vacuum for a couple of weeks, but really like it so far. Great suction and convenience compared to my central vac. The battery didn't last quite as long as I expected or needed for my whole house, but still good. I did not get a crevice tool with my purchase. That would be handy. Mounting and charging were simple. Initial assembly of the actual vacuum was a bit of a mystery and the directions were no help. Luckily I found a YouTube video that helped me figure it out. Ergonomically, for me, the handle is at a slightly wrong angle and is uncomfortable after a few minutes. Because the vacuum works so well and is very convenient for storage and use, I'm very happy with this vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This purchase was a replacement for a Dyson v11. This unit seems to be quieter than the v11. We have a lot of natural wood flooring that has very narrow gaps in which small dirt particles collect. It takes something with very good suction to clean this. Both the v11 and v15 do a great job! I love the convenience of the cordless vacuum! No maneuvering around a cord or having to stop and switch outlets. This has turned out to be more of a time saver than I could have anticipated. I also love how the cordless tackles all floors and converts quickly to tackle the car or furniture or wall decor. Great job, Dyson! I’m a huge fan and recommend your products to family and colleagues.

This is my fourth Dyson. Dyson vacuums are simply the best out there hands down. When I buy a new one I take the old one to our businesses or give them away because they are still good. We have six dogs and four cats so vacuuming every day is a must. The V15 Detect has been my favorite so far because of the suction power, battery run time and most importantly, the optic light on the head.

absolutely amazing at getting your floors and rugs cleaned. I hadn't cleaned my rugs for three years other than a light brushing and this really got all the way in. I filled up the dust bin five times over two area rugs. The green light that shows the dirt and hair on your floors is insanely gross to see but a really nice feature.
Wish it came with better instructions on how to use the attachments, That you seem to be on your own for!
