Super quiet, good battery length. I like the larger dirt collection canister and it empties easily. I wish that it had a switch on the button that could be locked on instead of having to keep pressure on it. My old smaller Dyson used to lay over and slide under the beds but the bigger canister and motor of my new Dyson makes it more difficult to get all the way under a king sized bed. I especially like the floor light that shows the dirt on hardwood floors.
Great suction. The green light is amazing (and could become an obsession). It shows EVERY speck of dirt, etc on your floors. I find the canister too large, makes it harder to get down close to the floor to get under furniture. It is heavier than our 11, which is not a plus for me in a cordless.
I love the Dyson V15 Detect. It’s a beautiful and powerful vacuum. The laser light on the main hard floor attachment is one of my favorite features — it reveals every speck of dust and makes you want to clean the whole house! It’s oddly satisfying.
That said, the vacuum is quite heavy, especially on the wrist and arm. The large battery adds to the weight, and while I appreciate the long run time, it does make extended cleaning a bit tiring. I wouldn’t necessarily want a smaller battery, but I do wish the weight was better distributed.
Another thing I don’t like is the lack of lighting when using other attachments, like the carpet head or the smaller tools. If you’re vacuuming in a dark corner or under furniture.
Overall, it’s a fantastic vacuum in terms of performance and looks, but it could use some improvements in ergonomics and lighting versatility.
It just feels so cheaply built. Yes it vacuums well but for the price I paid I just felt I’d be holding something that feels worth that price point. Plus, it came with scuffs out of the box, and some fingerprints. Pretty sure I got a refurbished model or one that was returned.

I've had my Dyson for two weeks and can I say , I just love it. Not the soul mate type of love but more of I can't believe I've gone this long without you type of love. I mean when I look forward to vacuuming because I want to see how much my Dyson can pick up, I know I made the right choice. Yes, Dyson V 15 I picked you!!! And now you can pick up all my mess:) I would have given it 5 stars but it is a bit heavy and the gold color just reminds me of a tacky guy with too much jewelry. Less bling and maybe just focus on doing your cleaning thing.. But your extra weight just means I am going to get a good arm workout so that's a bonus..
The vacuum is ok. It does not pick up dust or pet hair very well. The battery life is terrible. Definitely not what is advertised. We’re very disappointed given the price of this vacuum.

this vacuum has absolutely changed my life. battery is great. attachments are mostly great - the carpet attachment has trouble on our rugs sometimes and will get stuck/stop spinning. it’s super light & quiet. easy to clean. the different modes are great. i do wish it would stay running without me holding the trigger but that’s not a huge deal to me. overall fabulous & worth the money!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve only used it briefly but so far am not impressed. Even on boost is not picking up all that it “detects”. Bought this because I love my V11 animal and thought it would be new and improved. Not so.
