I have been very pleased with my new Dyson. This is by far the best hand held vacuum I have owned. I especially like the way the V15 empties. I have 2 earlier Dyson hand held models which had problems with emptying the devices. My first, V6, often opened which zones using it and the debris spilled over the area being cleaned. My second, V10, was difficult to empty and debris gets caught in the canister. I would often have to reach into the canister and pull out the remaining contents. With the V15 canister being detachable I haven’t experienced this problem. I also have a Dyson animal, which I purchased in 2010, which is still performing well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new Dyson V15 Detect Absolutely. I had the older model Dyson portable and it worked great but was starting to get slow but the V15 Detect Absolute has so much more suction and is so much more quiet. Love it!!

This is my fifth battery operated vacuum. Love it!! When a new one comes out, I buy it and use the others upstairs, camper or give to children. Just area rugs so majority is flooring that I have and they are the best vacuums for this.

Purchased this Dyson to replace the previous one that we had literally worn out. Based on the amount of dirt the new one is picking up, the replacement was overdue. Exponentially more dirt in the canister means we have to empty it a little more often, but it's so worth it to have the floors truly clean again. It's great on our concrete floors, throw rugs, and vents, and even gets the deeply embedded stuff out of the rugs.

This is a great machine except I have to hold the “on” switch the entire time I vacuum. Otherwise it will get 5 stars.
