Love my new DysonV15. It has powerful suction. Cleans carpets, tile, linoleum and hardwood floors, with ease. I really like the fact that I can vacuum the entire house without having to charge it. (small house… 1200 square feet)

I received this vacuum as a warranty exchange for a vacuum that failed. The Detect Absolute is improved over my prior model and I am completely satisfied with this vacuum. If I had any criticism, it would be the marginal manual that comes with the vacuum, and the lack of clarity on the website for the unit, especially the description of the user interface screen and the particle readout.

It's been a few weeks, but I absolutely love all the attachments and how well it works, even if it there's a lot of dog fur, dust, and hair. I love how modular it is and easy to take apart, so I can clean all attachments easily. Battery life is great so far

Good suction, laser and everything.
But the build quality is whack, especially for the price. It’s plasticky and the v15 absolute handle-attached-to-the-handle design makes it feel wobbly.
Not sure about this one chief.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Less than impressed - convenience tool only

I bought this a little over a month ago. I’m a vacuum fanatic. I love vacuums and vacuuming. I even get excited about receiving a vacuum as a gift for Christmas from my husband. I literally vacuumed on Christmas morning instantly after opening my gift. When the Dyson vaccuum arrived I was equally excited and assembled it immediately and couldn’t wait for the charging period to complete. Unfortunately I was immediately disappointed when I finally got to use the vacuum. It’s a lot heavier than I expected and took some getting used to as well as regular shifts from hand to hand, the battery life does not last long - max 35 minutes ish, and the suction on rugs is either overly aggressive limiting mobility over the rug or limited suction on the rug depending on the accessory tool used. I do love the green light accessory tool. It gives me immediate gratification to easily see dirt and per hair removed from my floors. I see value in this product if you need a quick clean of a smaller space in a hurry. It is not a great product for large areas and heavier cleaning needs. I much prefer a traditional plug in floor vacuum

I have been enjoying my new Dyson so very much. I had the V8, but wanted to get a more updated model that would give me more run time, but I got so much more and I expected. I love all the features, but the one I love the most is the green light on the floor attachment. I'm visually impaired and I can see all of the dirt and dog hair because of this light shining on the floor. I suppose it's the color that makes it show up so much. Anyway, do not hesitate if you want a very substantial and very adequate vacuum.
