I am a vacuum cleaner fanatic. The V 15 is my fourth vacuum in operation, replacing my V11 oversize. The Dyson V11 oversize was my favorite. I intend to get some replacement parts to resurrect my V 11. The V 15 has more suction, but I don’t like the small canister. I also have to reach up and pull the cat hair and dust balls out of the top of the canister every time I empty it. I haven’t mastered removing the canister efficiently yet. The telescoping wand adds another component of awkwardness to emptying the canister, but it is handy when I need it. So, really all my complaints revolve around the canister. The vacuum itself performs great.

Great vacuum but missing a piece. Called no replac

I do love the vacuum but I am missing a piece to it. An end plate on the hardwood floor with light apparatus did not come with my vacuum. I can still use it but I often have to readjust the roller. I called Dyson asking for a replacement of that missing piece. The rep was very nice and said she would send a replacement but that there are none available at this time. I spent so much money on this vacuum and I do love it but I am upset that it does not work properly

I have had a Dyson V8 for eight years, which has been getting old but still works with a few minutes of run time. I bought a Dyson V15 Detect Absolute to replace the old V8. V15 works longer run time, has stronger suction, and is more powerful.

I bought this about a month ago, after spending about a month trying to decide which one to buy. Finally decided to go with this model and am very happy. I was a little concerned about the weight after reading other reviews but the weight is not a problem. The vacuum seems to glide on all hard surfaces. There is an adjustment for carpeted areas. The attachments are easy to switch, the suction is very good and I really like the green light that shows all of the fine dirt particles (that our eyes don’t see). The battery life lasts so I am able to vacuum the entire house, but our home isn’t large and all on one level. And, it is simple to empty.
