I received this vacuum as a warranty exchange for a vacuum that failed. The Detect Absolute is improved over my prior model and I am completely satisfied with this vacuum. If I had any criticism, it would be the marginal manual that comes with the vacuum, and the lack of clarity on the website for the unit, especially the description of the user interface screen and the particle readout.

Purchased 2 weeks ago. We had the Dyson v8 animal and it did great. This new V15 really gets down into the carpet and the hard wood floor attachment is awesome. When the detect light comes on the small dirt particles really show up.

Great vacuum but missing a piece. Called no replac

I do love the vacuum but I am missing a piece to it. An end plate on the hardwood floor with light apparatus did not come with my vacuum. I can still use it but I often have to readjust the roller. I called Dyson asking for a replacement of that missing piece. The rep was very nice and said she would send a replacement but that there are none available at this time. I spent so much money on this vacuum and I do love it but I am upset that it does not work properly

I have had a Dyson V8 for eight years, which has been getting old but still works with a few minutes of run time. I bought a Dyson V15 Detect Absolute to replace the old V8. V15 works longer run time, has stronger suction, and is more powerful.
