I have only had for two weeks now but best vacuum I have ever had. The green light is what truly makes it stand out. It lights your floors up in a way to highlight all dust, hair and debris which in one way is gross and another way so satisfying to SEE your floors getting clean! I thought my floors were cleaner than they were. The green light let me see what I was missing. I have vacuumed and suffered and mopped and nothing beats the Dyson.

I didn’t want to spend the money for a Dyson but all the research I did Dyson always came in at #1. Dyson was running a sale so I went for it and I am so glad I did. The laser attachment is a game changer! You think you keep a clean house this attachment will prove you wrong! Highly recommend.

I bought my Dyson v15 about a month ago. It replaced the old one I had for 18 years and still works perfectly.
The v15 is so easy to use. I always have loved the bagless feature and the v15 is easier than ever. The machine is cordless and lightweight and has a long battery life. I love, love, love the laser light. I have minimal carpeting and with light I can see beforehand what I am picking up on my floors.

I was so confused about which model to buy - but after completing Dyson’s online questionnaire and watching numerous videos describing the differences between models settled on this one - and I’m so glad I did! I was concerned the trigger might be fatiguing - but it hasn’t been (if anything, I accidentally activate it every time I pick up or handle the vacuum). The fluffy head (with its illuminating light) is by far my favorite - but boy does it make my hardwood floors look filthy (and for good reason)! I’m wowed by the ability of this unit to suck up dust that I didn’t know was there, and after a few times vacuuming my floors look the best they have in years.
The regular head works great on carpet too (but that isn’t what I bought it for) - and has replaced my Kirby as my go-to for ease of use and effectiveness. Would recommend.

Nice improvement over older Dyson, but more needed

I bought this recently and am pleased with how it performs. I dinged it for a couple of reasons. One is that it is quite a bit heavier than the older model Dyson that I still have and use, though much less so now. The second reason is that, even though the docking station is now fixed, i.e. not hinged, Dyson could have easily designed it with more docking connections to accommodate all the accessories rather than having to have them lay about somewhere else.
