I am happy with this dyson. The directions weren’t very clear in assembly. And I do not like that you have to take the vacuum apart to dump the dirt and grime out. Otherwise, the light is great a seeing dust on the floor. I also have to change the heads to vacuum my rugs which I did not have to do in the Dyson V8.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are extremely pleased with this vacuum. Suction is better than any machine we ever owned. Not having a cord to fight is an enormous blessing. Battery time is not a problem. The vacuum head fits under and around just about all our furniture. This vacuum actually make cleaning the floors a pleasure. Only one CONCERN. The thin red plastic strip on the hair screw tool came off after only using the tool four times on our carpeted steps. I super glued it back on. Hope that works. Hope that isn't a predictor of manufacturing defects and future problems.

I vacuum my house at least 2 times a week. I just received my Dyson last week. The amount of dirt I pulled out of my rugs after 2 minutes of using the Dyson was disgusting. Hands down the best vacuum I have ever purchased, worth every penny.

Fantastic on hard floors and rugs with no pile. Great suction!
However, no matter what setting I try, it does not work on pile rugs, not even my low pile ones, only on rugs with zero pile I.e. weaved rugs, etc
