This is my second cordless Dyson. My other one retired from 13 years to our downstairs. I am amazed how new v15 capture so much more debris. I love Dyson cordless vacs. I use them every day. My only recommendation is location of on button. The new v15 trigger button sets oddly with hand and causes blisters. I did not have this issue on my old dyson
Got this as a Christmas gift. So far so good. A few things that would make this a better product are: make it stand up on its own when you stop vacuuming instead of having to lay it on the ground or against something else, make emptying the canister easier so that you don't have to disassemble( remove all the attachments on the vacuum) also a smaller vacuum head/narrower for tight areas would be great. By and large it is a great vacuum for hard surfaces(wood, tile). It is a bit hard to push on thick wool rugs.
This was a Christmas gift from my family, I've wanted a cordless Dyson for a long time as I have been using Dyson vacuums for close to 20 years. I love this V15, it is very well designed, holds a charge for plenty long enough for me to vacuum my 3000 sq foot house (combination hardwood, carpet, rug, tile). Not having a cord or hose is awesome and cuts the amount of time spent cleaning by about 25%. The motorbar cleaner head means I no longer have to keep changing heads when I move from rugs/carpets to wood/tile and back. Some people complained about the vacuum not staying on but I think that's kind of the point with a cordless. I actually like that feature since it means the battery isn't running down while you are not vacuuming.
