I love vacuum cleaners and this is my third cordless Dyson; just keeps getting better. I love the light feature on hard floor attachment.

Bought this a few weeks ago, yes its a Dyson and you get what you pay for, but yes here comes the but, when dumping it, it is a pain in the backside, a standup is easier not to mention the weight. I bought this for simple messes and clean-ups not the weight of an upright both my shoulders are dead after 15 minutes working this thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still getting used to this new model. It's very different from the earlier version, like the V7 and V8. It's more powereful and adjusts the power as you move from rugs to floors. I love being able to remove the long handle to reveal the smaller crevice tool. So when I am vaccuming floors, I can remove the long part and use the short built in tool to do stairs. Very handy. The run time is longer too. The lighted brush is unbelievable to pick up dust and in my case cat fur that I just didn't see. Great machine over all.

We bought many cheaper units and all were then same, junk. We finally broke down and bought the really nice unit as it showed it picking up a lot more than dog hair. The thing works beautifully. My wife loves it, even my 19 year old son enjoys vacuuming the main floor of the house, hardwood floor. I don’t regret this purchase at all, very easy to use and very much better than other units made from other companies.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it hasnt worked. I found the wond will not lock to the canister and that means the wond will not stay attached and pulls off. It also just moves the debris around and not suck it up. I have owned Dysons for many years and this is the worst.

Recently purchased V15 detect. It is excellent on hard wood and tiled surfaces. I especially like using it on our hardwood stairs. But it is way too aggressive on our wool throw rugs(pretty good quality rugs). Even using the weakest suction setting, the waste bin gets filled with wool carpet threads in a minute or two.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I exchanged my V12 for the V15 but am missing the V12 which was easier for me to maneuver and did not require holding the trigger.

It can be hard to use the high power related to my grip on the handle especially when having to twist my wrist to maneuver. I love the high suction power. I does feel at times that the plastic handle may crack (as my last Dyson did crack at the handle) at high suction and left right motions with my wrist.
