This model does not compare with my first model. Heavy, does not pick up well unless it's on the highest setting, and there is no on / off switch

During use, the battery drained in less than 20 minutes while cleaning a single, average-sized level with hardwood floors. For reference, the home is not particularly large, highlighting a notable limitation in operating time. Trigger Mechanism and User Comfort The vacuum utilizes a trigger activation system. While this is manageable for some users, it can be cumbersome for individuals with limited grip strength. For example, those who experience difficulty with wrist or hand strength may find it challenging to hold the trigger during extended cleaning sessions. As a result, this model may not be ideal for users with strength limitations in their hands or wrists. Attachments and Floor Compatibility The included attachments perform well across most surfaces. However, the vacuum is not recommended for shag carpets. Even when reducing the suction power, the vacuum head proves difficult to move on such surfaces, limiting its versatility for homes with high-pile carpeting. Amazing technology! I'm impressed with the features. My third Dyson, and they just get better and better. Nothing cleans better or is more user-friendly. I also love not dealing with a cord. Battery life is remarkable. With three cats and a shedding dog in the house, I have to have a vacuum with this kind of power. The attachments are well designed also.

I do not like that you have to hold the power button on, I have rubbed the top of my finger so much I have a sore on my thumb, they need to put a power button on that you can turn on and off. Overall I am happy with the machine. It is very convenient. The filtration works well.

Overall love it! However, it does not perform well on an area rug. The suction is very powerful and Im loving it so far!! However, it is a bit heavy. Wish it was lighter.

I purchased the V15 and thought I purchased a V12. The V12 has an on and off switch and the V15 has a trigger that must be held to run. Even though the V15 is bigger, and more expensive than the V12, The on off switch is more important than any other feature. I would gladly trade the V15 for a V12.

I was hoping for a more maneuverable vacuum, but finding this one heavy, bulky and difficult to use. I should have bought a different one, i.e. the V8. :(

Our battery last 15 minutes only we fully charged it before use
