I have had the V15 for a few weeks now. I am trying to not be obsessive compulsive with the green laser. I have two dogs, one that sheds a lot. And then there is sand from the dog parks. I NEVER knew how much was on the floor. It is a blessing and a curse as you will see everything and really you can never be done vacuuming as after you think you did a good job, you go back and there is already more. It is amazing what it picks up but really you could be doing it all day with the shedding and dust. So you have to have strong will to put it away and let things just be until the evening if you vacuum in the morning. It is fantastic as I said but will make you crazy. Even our weekly housekeeper could not believe it. If I could change anything it would be the trigger power level. My son has a bit of an older Dyson and he can just turn it on and that's it. But with this one you cannot let go of the trigger to make it go. Also there is a tool you have to insert in order for the top piece to fix, I had to call to get help to put it together but they knew what the issue was and was quickly resolved.

This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum! First one lasted 10 years. This V15 Detect is the best! Seeing all the tiny dog hairs and dust disappear makes me feel like my tile/laminate floors are clean!!! I love it!

I live in sandy Michigan in the middle of the woods. I've had have hardest time finding a vacuum that could handle these types of messes. The Dyson V15 detect absolute is my answer! Not only can I see the sand, hair and dirt (which is such an amazing feature) but it sucked everything up easily and quickly. The battery could last a little longer, but I'm planning on getting a second so that's not a big deal. I'm still able to vacuum my entire downstairs with one charge on auto (1900 sq ft home). The attachments are great! I have hardwood floor with some rugs and both the hardwood attachment and carpet attachment work marvelously at picking up hair and sand!
