I purchased a new Dyson V 15 two weeks ago. I love it. It is so powerful; gets up all the dirt and debris - even the cat hair !!!. I only wish I had purchased it sooner.
This vacuum is so good, but I have to say it makes me crazy with paranoia of all the dust and animal fur I see now on my floors. I have a compulsion to run it over and over to get what is constantly building up. It is much heavier than my previous Dyson stick vac and so I find it a bit hard to use relative to what I had before, but it is a darned fine machine.
This is the second one I bought and it seems that they have made the main attachment more secure. I bought my first one a couple of years ago and the main attachment never clicks on but it still held it securely this new one does. I just like the sound confirmation that it's secure. It works as expected and I am happy with this purchase.
Run to me is poor especially on carpet, can not clean whole house of 1300 sq fr on a single charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month ago. It doesn’t cut up the hair as advertised and I have an extremely difficult time trying to vacuum the bath mats in my three bathrooms. It’s not worth the miney I paid for it!
