I love this cordless vacuum, I give it a 4 because it’s a powerful machine, cleans just as good as my large Dyson and the time on it last much longer than my last two, which were cheaper brands. It’s just that I wish there was something there to hold down the controller, it’s gets uncomfortable on hand and finger having to hold all the while I am vacuuming.

This vacuum replaced my V11 animal. I love this new vacuum! The suction is amazing, and I’ve been blown away by the dirt it has pulled from my area rugs. Also, I was looking forward to the fluffy optic attachment for my hardwood floors. The light really shows the dust and cat hair on my floor, and the head works really well. This vacuum cleaner is heavier than my previous one, but for the added features, it’s worth it.

I’ve have been using my Dyson V15 Detect for about 2 weeks now and so far I am extremely happy with this purchase. This vacuum has definitely been well designed and well made. I am astonished (and a bit embarrassed) with how much household dust and debris this small vacuum picks up. I am waiting for some additional, currently sold out, attachments to become available again which I plan to use for cleaning my car and cleaning hard to reach areas around my home. As long as this vacuum continues to perform as it has been initially, I will absolutely recommend Dyson to anyone, and I will be purchasing other Dyson products!

I have several Dyson products. I even owned the V6 and V11. However, it was time to upgrade as I have 2 house bunnies. I took a chance (even though the price was high), and I do not regret getting the V15 Absolute. It is almost intimidating as to how much of an upgrade it is. There are various settings and display images. The battery lasts a long time, a great improvement! I love hearing the vacuum and then the sound changing as it picks up dirt/particles. I have different flooring throughout my house: carpet, tile, vinyl planking and hardwood. The maneuverability of this Absolute is superb. Best of all the vacuum cleans it all! In addition, I notice my carpet is cleaner. The filtration is an upgrade. I can tell by the amount of dust/lint in the canister. The attachments are even phenomenal! Below is a photo of my old V11 animal on the left and my new V15 Absolute on the right. The color is beautiful as well.

The most powerful vacuum I have every owned. Light weight and easy to handle Excellent battery life with using a mix of all three modes (Eco, Auto, Boost) in a large home over floors, carpet, and rugs. Easy to dump and replace. The only "con" I have experienced is the suction is too strong (even in Eco mode with the carpet/floor roller attachment set at highest position) for some very low pile rugs; it will literally STICK to them and stop. I have tried lowering the angle, moving faster, checked all adjustments, etc., with no luck. I checked various forums and see this to be a common issue for many users. I suspect if the floor/carpet roller assembly could be raised a bit higher (to lessen suction), that it may resolve the issue. If I could use it on ALL surfaces I have (as I did with a competitor's cheaper model previously), I would increase to 5 Stars.

That green laser on the fluffy head is the most amazing hardwood floor cleaner I’ve ever used. We have around 4,000 square feet of hardwood flooring in our home, and this thing will clean it all on one charge. Swap heads and it’ll do a great job with the rugs too. It’s shocking how well the laser works to show any spots you’ve missed. Under furniture, the laser is a game changer.
