Great Bike Computer

The 2nd time out, my mount broke (aftermarket) and rolled down the street, falling off at 14mph. The case and screen protector stopped the scratches and the computer still worked fine afterwards. I have since replaced the mount. Computer is "Durable".

great unit I have the radar also , when i send the unit a set bike route i love the turn by turn instructions and with the radar option i get warnings long before i see a car behind me . love that i can program my screens to what i want to see

Very easy to read day or night. Battery is great. Menus make sense. Dumped my Karoo 3 after using this. When comparing , nobody is even in the same ball park here .

I bought this about a month ago for a bikepacking trip.. I’m coming from a 540 and my vision is not what it used to be..love the size of the font etc..love the touch screen and ease of the features.. transferring maps are so easy as well.. I’m not a super techy person but so far everything is very easy to navigate..

Love the larger, brilliant display

Upgraded from an 830 that had lived a long, hard life and was ready for retirement. With the 1050's display, I now use it as intended and not just as an odometer. The touch screen is sensitive and functional even when wearing full-finger gloves. Now, I spend less time head down trying to see display. A simple glance and I've able to see the information I want. Simple swipes take me through the various pages, maps and elevation profiles.
The old 830 frequently had trouble pairing with my Varia lights and radar to form the light network. Nothing more distracting and annoying than getting repeated "forming light network" and "radar disconnected" alerts while trying to stay focused on the ride. The 1050 pairs and forms the network immediately.
There are so many other beneficial functions to the 1050 over my older 830.
I'd recommend the Edge 1050 for all riders.

Great feature, screen is incredible

I got this to replace my 830 because the battery was no longer running long enough on a charge. The screen brightness is incredible! So far, everything is working as expected.
