The best cycling computer yet!

I got this because my old 530 broke recently. Compared to the 830, this is way better, worth the price for the upgrade. The display is a lot bigger, brighter and for me, that needs reading glasses, this is perfect because you can make the displays larger and with a LED screen, you can see it perfectly. I like that it connects to my SRAM AXS shifters and provides shifting stats and also provides battery levels for my shifters and my Garmin power pedals. I also love the Stamina graph that is supper accurate, i can predict how much more fuel I have based on the effort I'm doing. Overall is perfect.

Made the leap haven’t looked back

I initially had an edge 530. Small and compact. But I wanted a computer that could work with sram bonus buttons and also better screen. The edge 1050 has mot disappointed!
Love the screen, additional features (has a bell!) battery life is long. Plug is usb-c. Has voice directions. Overall I love it. I’m glad I upgraded even if it is larger.

Piece of garbage!

The device is really a piece of garbage. Does not sync most of the time, data is often wiped to the point where it requires a reset, difficulty connecting to the iPhone and often doesn't save the ride data. Within the last, has dumped all data twice. Garbage!

The unit works well little confusing and sometimes hard to work. Ran into stopping a ride I was doing for MS and it just would not stop. Have up for a few days finally got it to stop recording.

Don’t add sensors

This device is too complicated if you want to add any sensors. I took it to a Trek bike shop for them to install and setup. They said it was very hard to pair the sensors to the device. It doesn’t really work plus I can’t shut the device off because the timer is in progress. So that has rendered this device useless. They can’t figure out how to turn the timer off. Garmin chat doesn’t respond so I’m going to have to waste my time and call Garmin. Don’t waste your money on the Edge 1050.
