As is customary, Garmin releases a product without deep thought. It has been hard to find a mounting device for integrated handlebars that can handle this larger than 1040 device.
everytime i i sweat and it gets on the screen or when its raining it makes the screen go insane like im tapping random buttons on the screen. this is the most annoying part of the 1050 and im mad i bought it

Hi there, I'm sorry about your experience with our Edge 1050. When water gets on your display it is best to lock the display. Here is a link that will take you to how to lock it. http://ms.spr.ly/6429sqzJ7
I just love it. even things I chuckled at like the bike bell are just handy and the battery life has been excellent. Only downfall is the time I have spent tweaking data screens but I enjoy that freedom too!

Picked the 1050 up about 2 months ago. Have about 16 rides and 575 miles with it. Clarity of screen is really nice (had a wahoo roam v2) as is the size and touch screen responsiveness. I was a little hesitant about the touch screen. Works flawlessly.I do not have many rides in the rain with it but the 2 I did have it worked the same way. No regrets about the size.

Really happy with EDGE 1050. I like the way the Garmin gives an audible sound for turns. So far I think that this EDGE 1050 is a big step up from my previous Garmin.
