The chrome handles are vastly superior to the standard canvas and plastic handles that originally came with the machine. Furthermore, the chrome handles are more durable than the canvas & plastic handles. Also, the chrome handles are less constricting on the hands and wrists than the standard canvas & plastic handles. With a wider range of motion. The chrome handle set comes with all the parts necessary for installation.Easy to install and no tools required.

I got these because the D Rings on the alternative handles kept slipping to the corners of the D when exercising. It doesn't inhibit it's performance. It is just a distraction. The chrome handles work fine with the exception of using them while doing the twister exercise. There is no way to lock them together and one can slip out of your hand while exercising.
