I had no complaints about the fabric handles that came with my TG Fit. I had the chrome handles on a previous model TG that I used to have and I liked them also. I saw these and decided to purchase them so I could do a side by side comparison. I used one fabric handle and one chrome handle and did my workout. IMO the chrome handles are superior to the fabric and I will use them from now on. I recommend them highly.

I like how I get a much more solid workout using the chrome handles as they are stiffer and have a nice smooth rotation of the handle. There are some things that I prefer to use the nylon handles that come with both my Total Gyms--such as the oblique twisters and the single arm rows--as they fully encompass the handle part and are more flexible for double handles in one hand. But overall the stiffness of the chrome handles adds to the enhancement of many of the cable exercises.

Total gym chrome handles seem to not hurt my hands as much as the originals. Better for curls + pull backs.

These handles are good, but could be better still

I bought these handles because the triangular fabric handles had a circular connecting ring that would dig into my wrists during use. These handles, which match original designs are eronomically superior, but the grip of these is shorter than the original which makes them less ideal for normal-to-large hands. They still work, and are still better than the triangular handles, but could be better still if more thought went into the design.
