The carry on was smaller than similar bags and the interior recessed zipper pocket reduces space further. I could not tell that the zipper was recessed from the pictures.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this luggage. It is the perfect size for me to pack for a vacation, or a get away with the girlfriends. I was able to pack enough clothing to last me a week in it. I did not pack any of my husband's stuff, not enough room, because I always overpack. I love that it is hard shell. No worry's about it tearing or collapsing on me. The case rolls with ease and is very easy to handle. It can be locked with a three digit combination that you set yourself. Instructions are included on how to do it.

Love the look, so light weight. Quality is awesome. The interior fabric is very durable, easily cleaned with a wipe down. Great design and so easy to maneuver. Hopefully there will be no issues, ever.
