Wonderful luggage piece for consistent travel

I have had the Ivory (basically white) trunk spinner for almost two years. I consistently travel for work, maybe once or twice a month for 4-6 days. I take this for those work trips and I absolutely love it! I have Monos and Samsonite luggage, which I will occasionally use if my work trips are shorter durations, maybe 1-3 days. Since I travel for work I am constantly taking my work equipment with me, which I have extra monitors, workbooks, etc, that I have to pack with me. FYI, this item is check-in only, not carry on. This trunk has never failed me. The handle is pretty sturdy, it doesn't raise up too high which I prefer because the longer the handle the more wobbly it can get. The wheels are 360, which is amazing and I love them. I haven't had issues with the wheels and on carpet, they are pretty good. If the carpet is thick, its been ok even though how heavy (less than 50lbs) my luggage can get, and I have no issues if the carpet is "thin". I have taken it on cobblestones, smaller ones, not Europeans large ones, and it held up. I had to keep the handle lower so I could navigate it better, but the wheels still work and no cracking! Since I got the ivory color, yes, I have a ton of scratches, marks, etc, on my trunk... honestly, I don't care. I think that adds character and each time I look at a mark or scratch it reminds me of that travel. I have now started putting stickers on it because I travel so much that its becoming a staple piece in my life. I actually purchased another one because I love this trunk so much! I do wish there was a smaller version so I could take it for 1-3 day trips, because there are times when I have to drive, not fly, to my destination for work. In most cases those are shorter trips and I would love to have that as my go to luggage for 1-3 days. Don't get me wrong, my Monos and Samsonite luggage are great and do a good job, but Monos... that's money right there, and Samsonite, the hard-shell is a bit more flimsy than I would prefer. Oh yes, the trunk also comes with a built in weight measure, which ngl, that has saved me multiple times! Another item that I like is that since the trunk has a wider base, the top is wider, this allows for more space to put your carryon or whatever you are carrying. Some bags, especially the cloth kind, those top surface areas can be unleveled and not enough space. When you put things on top of that luggage your item will slide and fall off... when walking to airport luggage drop, a cityscape, or to your hotel, that's annoying. With this trunk, since its hard-shell and the surface area is wider, putting anything on top of it is fantastic!!! Overall, I love this trunk and I already own two... honestly, I will purchase another one in the near future as I want another color :) Happy travels y'all!
This suitcase is honestly bigger on the inside than the outside. I got out everything I thought would fit in it and it was only 2/3s full. We bought another one.
I do not recommend these suitcases. The wheel from my brand new Delsey Shadow Expandable broke off after ONE 3 hour flight. The brand will not cover the repairs due to "normal wear and tear". Save your money.
I got this size after realizing my carry-on wouldn't cut it for my trip (I mean, I was planning on shopping!). I used it for our Europe trip, flying from the States to Germany, then taking a bunch of trains through France and Switzerland. It handled everything, even rolling it over cobbled streets, up and down escalators, and across tram rails and curbs! I'm just bummed I got this color 'cause it really shows the scuffs from the airline baggage handlers. It held perfectly my 4 pais of oants, 2 shorts, pj's, undergarments, 5 tops, cardigan, 2 long sleeve tops, 2 shoes, all my toiletries (I pack a lot).
I bought this luggage, maybe five months ago and used it for the first time the handle was extremely loose. I contacted Darci and they told me that this was normal and they couldn’t do anything to help me since I was out of warranty. Mind you I only had the product now for four months and used it for the first time. This product is defective and they are doing nothing about it and that is terrible. Everyone that I have talked everyone that to about this handle, said there is nothing normal about the movement in this handle. I went to a luggage store and looked at all Delsey products along with many other companies products not one handle had 4 to 6 inches of play on both sides in it. This is so unacceptable that Delsey will not take any responsibility for this and help me.
Very disappointed since I’ve had Delse luggage for a very long time. Hopefully it’s just a defective zipper and I won’t be experiencing it on the other Delsey products I own..
