My 29 y-o Bro Is Working Fine! Wanted An Upgrade.

Im a self-taught person who can use a sewing machine. My first Brother was a gift from my husband 29 years ago. Being a military family I was proud to make pillows, kitchen curtains, Halloween costumes, special occasion dresses, school clothes, military and martial art patches, kitchen curtains, alterations, and now “customized” face masks. Tiny but Mighty

I bought this machine because it came with the walking foot. My previous Brother stopped working, but when I started sewing it powered through multiple layers of fabric and terry. I love it but I miss the automatic thread cutter and the lighted stitches panel.

A Mistake

I needed to replace my broken LX3817A because I didn't think it was worth fixing an entry level machine. But this machine can't even hem jeans without skipping stitches. New machine, fresh needle, but still it looks awful. I was really excited about getting a better machine which just makes how awful this one works more disappointing. I wish I had gone with something else but I guess I have to make it work now.

What a great sewing machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Brother CP100x Sewing Machine for an honest review. So far, this has been the best sewing machine I've ever owned. It has 100 stitches built in and 8 one step button holes. It's a high quality sewing machine with a large table. The quick set bobbin is easy to use and one step automatic needle is perfect. With 100 built in unique stitches, you can't go wrong! You'll find something to meet your needs. This high quality machine this is great to use for projects. Also, the hard case is perfect for protection when placing in storage and using it at the next time. I highly recommend this to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review. I am one of those people that always tries to fix clothes before tossing them away. This machine works great! I have also made a few decorative pillows and i am thinking about some curtains for our living room. I consider myself a beginner, but I had no trouble using this machine. Instructions are fairly easy to follow and it fits nicely on the little corner table I have set up in our bedroom. I have tried quilting yet, but that's my plan for this fall. I have many different pieces of clothes from when our son was little, and I thought a small quilted blanket would be a nice gift for him. I also like to get inspiration online and I am looking forward to many other creations I will make with this sewing machine. If you like to sew or if you have always wanted to try it, you won't be disappointed!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every since I was a little girl I have always wanted my very own sewing machine. Loom I am now a owner of one. It's simple amazing it was so many settings and functions me being a beginner this is very easy to use an you can even watch videos on YouTube to get a idea what to make if you get lost. I started off small and make a pillow case. Everything went smooth some bumps but with time Everything will work out. Enjoying the adventure. I also use it to make little touch ups on my work uniform or dress or shirt so convenient no more running to the shop to make altercations

Not fond of sewing

I never was fond of sewing but my new CP100X has changed that. . She is quiet and I do not need to use a foot pedal - how wonderful is that! I have woven so many projects that I wanted to finish but my old machine kept jamming so nothing has been finished. Two weeks after buying my JOY (cp100x) I now have many of those handmade woven projects done. I was able to sew long woven bands together and make bags within an hour using the zigzag stitch by pushing 1 button! I can't find the stitches on the bag -so fine -so precise. I love my newly named cp100x - a JOY to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brother cp100x 100 stitcg computerized sewing and quilting machine is AMAZING! I have done miscellaneous project and I can say each has come out better then I would of ever expected. Simply having the choice between 100 different stitch options is enough to draw me in. But there's more! It has a larger then normal work space so I can fit the thickest of projects, it's easy to threat and has different speeds to choose from! For a sewing machine it's fairly light weight is naturally is eye pleasing.
