I guess I’ve been living in the dark ages with my old machine from my mom. This machine has it all! Threading a needle on the first try with this was a huge success, changing out one of the ten feet is a breeze, endless stitches are amazing. It’s quiet, the foot peddle is accurate to your touch and I love the storage case. I’ve whipped out some pretty cute doll clothes for my daughter and she’s loving the different stitches that she can choose for them. This machine is going to be great for anyone that wants to learn how to sew. It’s so user friendly and so simple. It light weight and has a very large working area, which is great for quilt making. This is by far a great machine and can’t wait to see what I can make next.
I would recommend this to a friend!

During the stay at home order, my wife decided to revisit her love for sewing after I found an old sewing machine in our garage. She has been enjoying her hobby on her old machine for well over a year now. When the Brother Computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine arrived, she was over-the-moon happy.
She has been using it, on average, three times a week and I have heard nothing but rave reviews about it. She is especially thrilled with the super easy needle threader and the button hole feature.
Taking a look at it myself, this machine is state-of-the art all around. There are so many stitches to choose from and it is easy enough for a beginner to use and feel comfortable. It is very well made, sturdy and I like that it has a case for when my wife is not using it.

Fantastic machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beginning to think I would never get the hang of sewing, but it turns out I was using an inferior machine! Since receiving this Brother CPX100X my projects have been coming out so much better. My husband is actually much better at sewing than I am and I usually leave big projects to him, but I really think I am ready to tackle a quilt with this machine! It's been my goal for years to get comfortable enough to make a quilt, and with the larger work space, and 10 different feet, and 100 stitches, I really think this is the perfect machine to help me reach that goal.
As I said, my husband is much more experienced than I am sewing, and he absolutely loves it. He is able to whip out masks in no time, with half the frustration of our old sewing machine. I have even been able to make a couple with no issues! The needle threader is literally one step and works every time. Neither of us have noticed any tension issues, and the stitches look beautiful every time. I have had so much fun playing with all of the different stitches and it has been great practice. I had no idea there were so many different feet like buttonhole, zipper, monogramming, overcasting, blind hole, etc. I have so much to learn and am actually excited about it now instead of overwhelmed and frustrated with my old sewing machine. I love that it comes with a protective case as well. I really feel like the sky is the limit now that I have something reliable to create with!

Best quality sewing machine out there

Growing up, my mom had a Brother sewing machine and I was always so fascinated with it. Throughout the years, she’s been teaching me how to sew and although I’ve still got a lot to learn, I know that I got my hands on the best sewing machine on the market.
My mom helped me set it up and it was super easy. She said this machine has come such a long way since her old school one and has some amazing features. I’m really excited to learn the different types of stitches and I love that I can Control the sewing speed. Such a nice feature for a beginner like me!
I love the beautiful modern design of the machine and the protective cover it came from. It doesn’t take much space and stores perfectly in our spare room.
I’m excited to have more of a reason to have my mom over to teach me how to sew and have a machine to pass down to my daughter and teach her.
This is such a special item for our family!

Super Nice!

I was kind of intimidated when I opened the box to get started with this new machine because of it being computerized. It was a breeze to set up! I should have gotten a new one a lot sooner. This one weighs a lot less and when I press on the foot petal this sewing machine runs so quiet compared to my old one. I made a pair of curtains for my kitchen and this machine made it so quick and easy to get them finished.This is a great quality sewing machine that I'll be using for years to come. I love that it comes with the protective hard case to store it in. My old sewing machine didn't come with one. I'd recommend this machine for beginners and for the quilting experts out there who love to see.

This is the first sewing machine I have used that is computerized and can say I won't be using anything else bit one of these machine's , everyone needs one of these.

I taught myself how to sew so i am not very advanced. I need a machine that is straight forward and easy to use. This machine is perfect for me. I don’t even need to use the book much because the machine is so easy to use.
I like that it came ready to use. It even had a needle on it and everything. It only took me a few minutes to get set up and I was ready to go. It’s super simple to thread because it has numbers on the machine that direct me in the order of steps for threading it. The pedal is comfortable for me to use and very responsive to me pushing it. I like that the machine even has different speeds I can set it at so I can go as fast or as slow as I want to.
There are so many fun stitches to sew with. Selecting different stitches is simple. All I have to do is pick the number of the stitch to do and it tells me on the machine which foot I need to use. Switching the foot is quick and then it is ready to go. I love that I can easily switch between stitches in just a few seconds. I like to sew things for my daughters so they were very excited to see that I can now use special stitches with hearts or flowers for them.
I’ve sewn through several different fabrics and had no issues at all. It has all fed through easily and even with multiple layers of denim the needle goes through just fine. The seams have all held nice and tight and my finished products look great.
