I have used the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo Direct Thermal Label Printer for several years. I own three: one for home office use and one at each of two non-profit organizations where I volunteer as the treasurer.
I can print a variety of labels, including stamps (although I prefer Stamps.com). Since this is a twin unit, I usually have delivery address labels in one side and stamps in the other. I only swap the labels when I need to print something unique (for me), such as file folder labels.
Like many other customers, I prefer the older DYMO software, but that's easily remedied by downloading DYMO Label v.8.
I've used my printer for years without issues. Today I tried to use Dymo Stamps (which I still had a credit balance on) and it does not seem to exist.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve had my name off for several years, but lately it will not print a full label that leaves one line blank in the middle of the address tried cleaning and all that, but it still won’t work. Replacing whatever mechanical pieces is more than the cost of the printer not happy.

I bought my TurboTwin years ago and use it to print labels and postage. Great printer and I have had no problems with it until support of the DYMO Label software was stopped. I have been totally frustrated with DYMO Connect since it was release and have never been able to get it to work.
I still use MS Office 10 and Connect doesn't seem to allow this, insisting on Office 365. I am not a fan of subscription software so that is a no brainer. Today I took another crack at it and downloaded the latest version. After some effort I was able to import my Label v.8 contacts but of course my Outlook contacts aren't there. This time it can't find my printer so I can't print anything using Connect. I still use Label v.8 and it works great except I can't correct any of my addresses.
Very disappointed with DYMO and truly don't understand why the new software is anything but "User Friendly".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bob.
We appreciate your feedback and would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused and for the Address Fixer not working. Currently, our server responsible for this feature is down, and we are unable to resolve the issue on our side as the Dial-A-Zip service owned by Endicia has reached its End of Life status.
We would like to kindly inform you that our DYMO Label Software is now obsolete but we still support it. Please reach out to us directly so that we can provide you with an alternative of how to correct your DYMO Label Addresses.
Our DYMO Connect Software supports Microsoft 2016, 2019, and 365. We recommend installing our latest DYMO Connect software, that way you will be able to import your Outlook Contacts. Please make sure the printer is connected directly to the computer as USB hubs/adapters are not supported then open DYMO Connect then click NEW>Printers and choose your printer once you click the drop-down menu.
If you are still having issues (If you have more questions or feedback), please reach out to us via our website or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time.
I read all these negative reviews. Here's with my iMac. Occasionally, there is a printing concern. I've had bad printing to multiple blank labels coming out of the machine. Here's what I do and it's my 'go to' procedure:
Disconnect the printer and unplug it. Give it a couple of minutes to fully discharge. On the Mac,go to System Setting >Printers> Printers and Scanners> Dymo Labelwriter and remove the printer with the minus (-) sign.
Restart your Mac. Connect the printer to power and connect the USB cable. Then go back to System Settings >Printers> Printers and Scanners> and add the printer with the plus(+) sign.
You may need to restart the Mac again, yet that's pretty much all there is to it. Stuff happens. Don't panic and take a moment. This is especially likely after an OS update/upgrade.
I have had this model for about 5 years. We are a small family farm business, and I have this in our home office. We use it for address labels, and to label farm items for shipping, like seeds, etc. I have no problems with it all it. I works great for me and performs as it should. I find that it is easy to change out the labels to a different size or type. The software is a little clunky and quirky but once you figure it out, its not really a problem.
I have had both the 450 twin as well as the postage scale. I used it daily when i "first" got it without problems. Then software started getting changed ... then companies and so much disorganization as to make them worthless. The employees were never able to figure out and could actually go to the post office faster and cheaper than successfully getting something printed out. I could not recommend getting another Dymo product because of all the grief we have had with these.

This printer is hot garbage! It wastes labels since the moment one label prints, a blank label comes out automatically. The dymo software is garbage as well and doesn't even recognize this printer. Avoid at all costs!

Hello.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by our printer.
If the printer is printing blank labels, we recommend cleaning the printer's sensors and printhead using rubbing alcohol. For instructions on how to clean the printer, please go to dymo.com>Support>DYMO Help Center and search How to clean my LabelWriter.
To make sure the printer is recognized, please connect the USB cable directly from the printer to the computer as USB hubs/adapters are not supported.
