This is what I have wanted when cutting grass.

I bought this for one of my students who has a disability. The one thing that calms him is a radio. So, we were hoping this would help were it was small and he could take it with him.

Bad battery door

Gets decent reception except at the back of buildings. Buttons self-push in ur pocket so very often have to pull it out to reset. Battery door is under such huge tension they usually don't last even a year....I always have at least one strong rubber band to keep it closed & under a bit less tension...once the battery door breaks off; I use 2 rubber bands to keep it in place & prevent the batteries from flying across the room. This radio really make me miss the mp3 radios that also used the headphone as antenna; only required one battery ; signal clear as a bell; didn't turn off in ur pocket; & lasted years!

Can only pick up two stations and only hear with earphones nowhere on the package does it say that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this this week to use while riding my mower. I like to listen to day games on the radio while cutting grass. Nice little radio.
