I bought this item a week ago and to be honest its very bad. I also put the AAA Batteries in it but then I tried to turn it on with the power button in the middle it didn't power on so basically like a test dummy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this. I'm only depending on batteries, no charging or dead battery. Even if power is out. I'm not one to depend on a phone, thank you for having something for those who just want to have pleasant music always
I would recommend this to a friend!

I still listen to AM/FM radio to listen to music and news when I work out. This is a perfect size: doesn’t get in the way or need anything but 2AAA batteries! I plug in my Beats headphones and I’m good to go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great, although I had to replace the ear buds for something more comfortable. Also a belt clip option would have been nice

Bought 2 to take to professional baseball game to hear play by play. Most functions seem to work. Earphones are junk and useless won't stay in your ear. For the money it works well and will serve it's purpose
I would recommend this to a friend!
