Bought for the drag race. PA system was also broadcasting on an FM channel. Worked perfect, was able to hear and protect my ears. Great volume and tone. Also love the little bass boost.

Please clarify...is this unit to be used only with headphone? Assume so as can't hear radio without headphones inserted and listening thru headphones. If indeed a headphone hearing radio only, truly wish it would of said so on packaging..
