[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product foe free from 3M to test and review. Per the norm of Scotch brand products, this packaging tape holds great! If it twists on you and sticks to itself, you might as well just cut it because it won't let loose; not that this is an issue as I purposely caused this just to see. Another great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product free to review. I didn't even know there was different tape for boxes. I'd buy this over the regular tape. It does stick a lot better.

Strong and sticky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free roll of 3M Scotch Box Lock to try out. Even though the tape is super sticky, I was able to easily peel up the edge to start the roll without the tape shredding into several pieces. My first use was to seal a heavy box for shipping. The tape gripped firmly to the box without peeling up or tearing.

Extra Sticky Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape really seals a box if you want to keep it closed for a very long time. Probably not the best option to use if moving and you are going to open the box again in a few days, but good for boxes stored in the attic.

Great Tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. It does what the description says it does. One strip of tape is all you need to seal your box. It feels thicker than other tapes and comes off the roll smoothly without making that loud "tape sound".

Easy to use and secure tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is nice and thick and I was a little skeptical about it's sticking abilities because of that thickness until I actually sealed a box with it. It sticks. It also unrolls smoothly and it's easily cut with the built in cutter on the dispenser. This smaller roll is also easier to grip and use but would obviously run out a lot quicker than the larger roll so I feel this size is best for those who want a sturdy tape but don't use it as often. If you ship/pack items more often, a larger roll would be a better bet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Scotch® Box Lock™ Packaging Tape in exchange for my honest review. I decided a great way to test the strength was by using this packing tape on a box with a torn surface and filling it with something with some weight to it. I filled it with twenty-16.9 oz water bottles and my niece gave it shake test. It held up great! I will be purchasing for packing the next time I move and would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape is a good quality tape. It does indeed stick instantly to boxes. The boxes are sealed and feel secured. The tape itself feels thick and very durable. You can tell that this is a high quality product. The roll is easy to start and even if it slips off the holder and re-sticks to the roll, I found it easy to restart it. Very good tape for shipping or storage.
I received this product for free from 3M to evaluate.
