Terrible product

I followed the instructions for descaling and the heating element failed. Called support and they said it was a non replaceable part and offered no solution. Had to throw the entire unit away and am out $$
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

K-2500 for small business

After having the small Keurig for the last few years, we found that we were filling it every 30 mins or so each morning. The plumbed 2500, touch screen and being about to use larger mugs has been great. So far, great, commercial grade machine.

I bought this new unit about a month ago and so far it works great - I just hope it lasts - the things I don't like:
1.)It goes into a sleep mode after a prescribed time (up to 4 hours) - it then needs to heat up to work
2.) no way to drain the internal tank - so if it isn't used for a while the water will just sit in it
3.) The internal tank must be small because after 2 cups, it need to heat up the water for any additional cups.
Overall, I like it - just wish it had a few of the things listed above

Compact and serviceable design, but with flaws

The main benefit of this new model is that it is much more compact in the plumbed in version than for example the prior K150. A new feature is the addition of a "strong" option, that runs the water more slowly though the pod. Also the fact that it is apparently serviceable, unlike all prior models (that had to be junked even if a minor part failed), should be a plus.
However in other respects this model is a step back from the K150. Firstly while you can set a maximum serving size, you can't select for example just one size that corresponds to the size of the cup that is provided. Also you can't have the brewer stay heated for more than 4 hours. After that it goes off and the water cools. So someone wanting a coffee after that time has to wait almost 5 minutes for the unit to heat then brew. This is big set back for our application in a bed and breakfast where guests may want a coffee infrequently but at any time.
In addition a much vaunted feature in the operating guide is the ability to upload your own images to the screen saver. However after much wasted time trying to make this work, we found out from their customer service phone support that there is a bug and this feature simply does not work!
On balance we preferred our prior plumbed in K150 model that failed after 3 years, that was also less expensive. Unfortunately it is no longer available in the plumbed in version.
This new unit apparently has the ability for software updates in the field via a thumbdrive and the USB port. We hope that some of these problems may get resolved and that an update is made available for already purchased units.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I been using this for almost 2 months everyday, I make coffee, tea, chocolate options are endless, we have it in our office and it works perfectly because it’s easy to clean and everybody can use it.
