The liner does not fit in the outside container properly and the glass lit does not give a sealed fit and you have to keep moving lid as it does not fit properly either to get a somewhat acceptable seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry that you are not completely satisfied with our product. Slow cooker inserts all fit slightly different because of the somewhat manual production process. The curved sidewall of the stoneware will always move at least a little when placed in the cooking base. A lid should cover most of the insert yet will not form a vacuum seal for safety purposes.
