I've had it a couple months and it does the job. Stays tight on the grill and keeps it dry.
The real question is durability. Will this li act more than 1 year, or will is crack and tear? Ask me about it again next October. That's the real test.

Heavy duty but didn't protect grill from rust

Desptie being covered, my S-670 grill rusted really badly. Suspecting that the material of the cover may have contributed to condensation getting trapped in between the two.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Cover, For a while.

Purchased this along with my Summit 600 Series grill and it fit like a glove and looked great. 2 years later it has shown significant fading, cracking around the bottom edge and a strap on each end has torn off. Granted I live in Ohio and the grill is outdoors all year, but at this price I could have purchased a new King Kong cover each of the last 2 years plus this year and had a new cover each year. If you store the grill indoors after use, it will probably be just fine. Of course, then you don't really need a cover.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This cover is constructed of a lighter weight fabric than the previous cover we purchased with our Genesis 600 Series grill. It also fits much better than the previous cover, without having to tug and risk tearing. The new cover seems to be just enough larger that it easily slides on and off the grill.

Our original cover lasted for 5 years but shrunk and got stiff so was difficult to put on. Because of that, I decided to buy a cover for the next size up grill and am glad I did. While it doesn't fit snugly, it makes putting the cover on a breeze and will give us room for shrinkage.

The cover is easy to place on the grill. Most of the time, I can't seem to find a cover that fits at the local hardware stores. This one fits perfectly and is definitely waterproof.
