Ok Cover

I normally do not write reviews however after I read the response from Weber stating that their covers normally will not crack or fade, I wanted to share my expereince. I have covers for both the Summit 670 and Performer grills and they have both have cracked, became extremely brittle and shrunk in size making it very difficult to fit over the grills. To be fair, both covers are over two years old and appear to be made very well but based on my experience, they have not lasted more than two years. Would I buy another Cover made by Weber, Yes but only because I want to make sure that the covers fit well and protect my investment in the grills. Overall, better than most covers but they will crack with age.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this during the summer as my old cover just wore out. This cover is made of a different fabric, which is lighter, seems much more water resistant and looks that it will last even longer than the old model. I was skeptical at first because of it's light weight but it's SO much better than the fabric Weber used to use for a cover.

Major Dissapointment

I purchased a replacment cover for my Summit S-670 Product code 7109. This product is very poorly made compared to the previous cover. Why was there a change made? Also this product is so cheaply made why does is cost the same? I spent big money on this Grill and are willing to make the investment to protect it. How do you justify the change to a product you wouldn't use to make an umbrella?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fits perfectly and is well made. This is a replacement cover for our grill. The last Weber cover lasted quite some time considering it is out in the weather and extreme heat we experience.

Our grill cover has literally disintegrated...

We have a Weber Genesis Silver addition grill and the cover has literally dry rotted and disintegrated. We spent a lot of money to protect our grill and feel like this has failed us...

Material was not what I would expect from a Weber product. Past grill covers were made with a durable heavy material that would last for years. I returned the product.

Not heavy duty to protect Weber investment!

Weber previously had a heavy duty cover that kept my grill protected very well for seven years and all kinds of Midwest weather. This new material is lightweight fabric and will be lucky to make it a year. I’m begging weber to again offer the heavy duty covers!! The most important thing is not a cheap cover, but protecting my investment in my grill.
