I purchased this after my original Weber Summit cover needed replacement. The original was purchased in 2010 with my Summit. I was a heavy, protective cover lasting almost 12 years through all seasons in NYC. I am disappointed with the new cover as it is a much thinner, lighter material. I am extremely careful when covering or removing as I do not want to tear. Wish it was more substantial

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for your concerns, that is not the experience we want our loyal Weber fans to have. We would like to help put your mind at ease.
Please lookout for an email from our Support team.
Not the same quality as the original cover I purchased when the grill was new 8 years ago. Much lighter weight and more like a plastic fabric versus the original tarp type material. This will not last for nearly as long as the original.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well, some people seem to be happy that their old covers lasted for 5-7 years. I think that it should last as long as the grill, they should be weather-proof, shouldn't they?

Hi! We are sorry to hear that your cover did not hold up. Our covers are backed by a 3 year warranty and we have reached out to you via email to help get yours replaced. Thanks!
The product does not seem to last tough weather condition when outside. I would be happy to upload photos to show my very torn cover after less than 3 years. It was torn beyond belief. I do trust Weber as quality provider, so have taken the chance to buy a new one for the 600 series grill. I really think they should reimburse me, but since I cannot upload photos from Mac really easily, I suspect that is out of the question. Doubt whether I will even get a response.

Lighter weight materials = cheaper? Time will tell

I'm a lifelong Weber customer and trust this brand. While I can't write a negative review, right now I am VERY concerned that the material in the cover is so light that it will not stand up to northeast winters. The previous covers were much heavier than this one. I hope Weber hasn't opted for cheaper materials. I'd gladly pay more for stronger materials.

Hello, thank you for being a longtime Weber fan! Although the material is lighter it will be able to protect your unit against the elements, rest assured it is backed by a generous 3-year warranty. Thank you!
Fits well. Lighter weight than the original Weber cover than came with the grill, but it feels well made. The ice and snow of the coming winter will be the test. My sense of the material is that it will do well and last for years.
This cover is much thinner then the original one. It flew off on a windy day so make sure you tighten. I think it is more flexible and will last longer.

I bought this new cover for an “older” Summit Silver grill ive had for 14 years..the other cover got lost in the move to Colorado..I chose this one by comparing dimensions..this cover is a couple of inches longer than my grill and covers it perfectly, the Velcro straps on each side make sure the mountain winds don’t blow it away..love the look, love the materials, Thanks Weber
