I had 2 of these covers and I need a third , the straps eventually rip off .

Don’t use cover if you live near the coast!

A Weber representative told me this week not to use a cover on my Stainless Summit. Said that covers trap corrosive moisture and you’re better off leaving the car off and just wiping down with a damp cloth once a week to remove all salt particles. I’ve never heard of that and after being a Weber owner for over 35 years they’re just now telling me.

Very happy with this purchase! The cover fits the grill without being too tight, it has velcro straps to cinch it in on the sides if needed. The Weber Summit is a nice grill, it just makes sense to protect it and keep it looking good.

This cover was suggested by Weber for the Summit 425 grill whose cover is no longer available. It is too big overall. It's too wide and too long. I had to cut 6" off the bottom so it didn't drag on the ground. I previously had this same cover, but the latest one seems even wider.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cover that lasts and protects!

Wow! We bought our Weber grill and cover about 5 years ago. At first, I was a little leery of the light weight of the cover, but five years later, it has no rips, tears or any significant signs of aging or reduction in performance. Our Weber grill sits in full sun, at least 50% of the day and has beautifully weathered the sun, rain, over 100 degree temperatures as well as frost. I would love to find out if the company that manufactures these makes patio chair covers out of this material. I have spent hundreds of dollars on chair covers that start falling apart after the first season. The Weber BBQ cover is an outstanding quality product!
