A big improvement over the Quest 2...no comparison. The image and audio quality has greatly improved. The mixed reality is mind boggling. The hand tracking is a big wow factor...I use the Quest a lot for watching movies that I download into the headset while using the Skybox app. Used to use Bigscreen which is OK too. I can watch 4k movies now and notice the difference in video quality. The gaming side of the Quest 3 is of course amazing !!! Finally to note, there are many more innovations that I am anxious to try out in the future. Stay up to date by watching related Quest 3 videos on YouTube !

Since this was for my youngest grandson all I had were pictures of him enjoying the game with his dad. They seem to have a lot of fun.

Nice change from the Oculus 2 I’ve had for awhile. Well worth the money especially the big change to the pancake lenses. Get visual while playing in flight simulator, which is really why I purchased the Oculus 3. You really cant beat Meta for a game system. Best one Ive ever had and most of my family have one also so we can play multiplayer games which is great.

Impressive easy to operate, only negative is the headband comfort is not great. I realize there much improved headband to replace it for $100+

Nice bit of tech, but not a lot of use

This is a well made piece of tech, but I feel the usefulness of it is quite low. It's a novel experience, but not much more. I get more use out of my monitors and keyboard.
One day, when these are smaller and lighter, it could be a promising technology, even though VR is a decade old, we are still in the very beginning of this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having the mixed reality improved is a game changer. Seeing things clearly plus having more games now leveraging mixed reality really shows the power of VR. Now need to figure out what to do with my quest 2 lol.

I simply love it. Simply Watching YouTube, immerse myself in a shooter or play a casual mini-golf game with friend is so nice. A little motion sickness at time but a little pause and it's gone. You must try this!
