Terrible, terrible colour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of monitors and this one is large but terrible. It is seemingly incapable of displaying light grey on a white background. It doesn't matter what picture mode you select, HDR on or off, or any of the settings (even extreme contrast/brightness adjustments). Meanwhile if I drag this same window to any of my other displays the light grey is CLEARLY visible.
Now, to be clear I'm not a designer so I'm not being super picky about colour accuracy. ..but it makes it so that grid lines don't show up in many applications (for example) and separators that normal applications use to distinguish one panel from another are totally invisible. Again, on ANY OTHER SCREEN I have (even cheap ones) the light grey is perfectly visible.
This monitor is trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new 38" LG. I wonder why I didn't buy this screen sooner. Once you start working on a screen thissize, you can't go back to working on a smaller screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is by far the best I have owned in my entire life. It’s definitely very good with resolution, color, features, ports, and even allowed me to eliminate my docking station. I highly recommend it and own two in my home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to improve my WFH setup from a previous LG 34 inch ultrawide and the extra screen real estate really makes a difference, as well as the ability to split my screen and use two devices. I will say I have had some issues with the USB-C port stopping to work and transfer data, but hopefully customer service can address this issue. Overall great product and plan on sticking with LG for my monitor choices in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with the monitor till vertical purple lines appeared on the right of the display after 12 months. 3 weeks after the one year warranty ended. Very disappointing for such a costly monitor. Otherwise I enjoyed using the monitor.
