Super happy with these monitors. Such a massive upgrade from the Asus 28" monitors I replaced. The picture quality is fantastic, the OSD menus are much more friendly. The process for changing the input is far faster. Additionally the ergo stands work great and take up nearly zero desk space.

USB-C input only worked for a short time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really bummed that after 2.5 years of use the monitor has stopped working all together. It went from an intermittent USB-C issue, to not charging my MacBook, and now it refues to see anything plugged inm even with the supplied cables. For the price, it should last much longer.

Weak USB-C socket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the image is not very good and after one month of use the USB-C socket broke off the backplane of the monitor. Although the Ergo mount has a cable manager with cable fixation on the top and I left enough cable length for free movement the cable provided is very stiff and the USB-C is not firmly attached. It's only soldered on the backplane. All the tension in the cable is loaded on the small soldered socket and it will fell off soon or later.
Just returned from my local LG service with the accusation of bad use of the monitor. They recommend me NOT TO MOVE eht mount and USE A CABLE FIXATION system not provided with the product.

Clearly this product is bad. Don't buy. I'm losing a lot of time in this situation.
Not a warning was made about this in the manual.

AWESOME Picture, quality, ergonomics and colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a great expectations about this monitor when I saw it at CES 2020. Finally after half and a year LG shipped to the market. The quality for the price range is unbeatable. You will have FreeSync at 60hz, HDR10, 4k and USB-c connection. The arm is fully ergonomic and it's something that every monitor for PC should have. Minimalistic and sturdy.
For say something negative: The monitor doesn't include Displayport cable. Which it means you won't have Freesync. Freesync is only available through HDMI or Displayport. Usb-c has a limited pictures modes too, you won't be able to select different color space modes.
Otherwise with the proper cable, is a fantastic monitor, working pretty good under MacOs and Windows.
Well done LG, this the path!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is a good value if your primary focus is going to be productivity, watching 4K video and photo editing. The adjustable arm and ability to color calibrate with my Spyder4 were both big selling points for me. My only quibble is the brightness and contrast of this monitor are not going to give you the best results with HDR content, especially in a brightly lit room.
I would not recommend this monitor for gaming, as NVIDIA's current driver doesn't recognize it as a FreeSync monitor, and it's refresh rate is limited to 60Hz.

USB-C port is not working with Mac mini
