More Stuck Pixels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only buy LG and have had great success but this monitor within the first month had 50 stuck pixels (green, red and blue). I was going to do RMA but they required me to send the monitor for inspection before sending a replacement. It was my only monitor at the time and couldn’t go without. I lived with it but now almost 2 years later I have countless 300+ stuck pixels wand is not in heavy use. Never had an issue with any brand to this extent for this price I find this unacceptable.

I bought this exact monitor in October 2021. It seemed like a great monitor, zero issues. This morning, July 13 2023 the monitor suddenly goes pink in the middle of a session, followed by white vertical lines cutting across the screen. Now it's completely useless. The monitor just shows a few white vertical lines and fades. I've tried different devices and it's definitely the monitor that is defective

I connected to MacBook Pro but LG Ultrafine monitor color adjustment didnot match Macbook Pro white point color so cooler color on Macbook and a little mat color on LG that is slightly different. I tried to adjust color on LG but there are no matching color degree.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor a little while ago. So far it's been pretty amazing. Set up was relatively easy and the monitor arm is sturdy and easy to use.
The negatives - Not much. My only complaint is that the usb-c connection goes dead if I don't turn off the monitor before i restart my computer. Not sure if it's a Mac thing or not. Couldn't find anything online and support was stumped too. In the end I figured everything out and it's working properly.

First the good: The ergo design is very nice. Easy to mount, good cable management, sturdy stand with a wide range of movement. It's also a snap (literally) to attach and detach the screen from the stand. So A+ on design.
Now the bad: First, the monitor image less than I expected. Yes it does standard RGB gamut, but what is not stated is that it crushes the shadows to black. The monitor can be adjusted somewhat to compensate but it's not accurate... the black point is still too high. I would not recommend this monitor to anyone wanting to do photography work. However, it is very nice for office work or watching movies and more than bright enough.
Second, The monitor and the Mackbook Air (M1) do not work well together using a USB-C connection. The monitor will not detect a connection after the Mac has been shutdown and the monitor has been left to enter sleep mode. Sometimes the monitor will cause the Mac start-up immediately after being shutdown. When waking the Mac from sleep the monitor wakes and connects most of the time. Thankfully, there is a work-around to all this nonsense (pun intended), which is to turn the monitor off/on when the connection can not be established... either by unplugging or holding the monitor settings button for a few seconds... but it is not as seamless as it should be.
So in summary, the ergonomics are great, but it's just an average big screen that is good movies or office work, but not for color accuracy or fast motion, but don't expect anything close to premium performance.

You can't find anywhere else. I'm mainly using it with MBP. And LG have done great job at software support MacOS where other brands does not offer.

As a global company, our code is developed by teams all over the world. We often work together by sharing screens to read and review each other's code. However, reading small font on a screen for hours can be quite challenging and can strain our eyes. I was surprised to find that the LG 32'' UltraFine monitor has such high resolution that I am able to read my colleagues' code without needing to constantly increase the font size
