[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually heavy duty! This scubber seems to disburse the scurbbing power evenly, old scubber would gather the scubbed in one spot on sponge leaving one gross spot that had t o be rinsed. Lasted the normal week too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a free sample from 3M. Don’t be fooled by the soft scrub side. It is a strong scrubber. Soap scum was easy to remove. Be cautious when using in faucets. It will scratch them. Use the sponge side instead. This is a great product

Scratches horribly

These scratched the heck out of my sink and stainless steel pot: and didn't even get the discoloration off the bottom. I normally use sponges with the fibrous material on the scrubby side and have no issues with scratching, even when I use Bon Ami scouring powder. Huge waste of a 6 pack. For some reason all the grocery stores in my area have these almost exclusively and they probably don't realize how damaging they can be in everyday use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buyer beware. Scratches glass top stove, horrible.

I have always used Scotch Brite blue sponges, no problem. Saw these at my store and decided to try them. I have now ruined my glass top Stainless Steel/Glass top stove, as well as an aluminum spoon rack. The “scrubby dots” are so abrasive, they scratch everything. My stove is ruined, I am beyond heartbroken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy!

I wanted to like these sponges because at first they appeared to work better than anything else I used. However, after I noticed scratches on practically everything in my kitchen I realized they were a big problem. I now have scratches on my Formica countertop, my stainless sink, my kitchen faucet, and my new stainless range hood. I’m sure there are other items where these sponges have “left their mark” but they don’t immediately come to mind. I also had to use rubber gloves for dishwashing after several gel manicures were ruined just by having the sponge in my hand. I’m just thankful I didn’t use the sponges on any of my stainless appliances. I have now gone back to using the blue version of these sponges. While they don’t clean as well I don’t have to worry about scratching things.

disappoints every expectation

i had high hopes that this sponge would actually combat odor but within less than a week of purchase it started to smell worse than the brand we switched from. also when they say "heavy duty" they mean "will scratch the bejeezus out of everything you own". i noticed the milder "scratch-free" option in the store but in my experience those don't clean anything and i always need the heavy duty version of everything but this thing could remove paint from a barn. 1000% would never purchase again.
