Ruined my silverware

This is bizarre. I don't usually write reviews but for this sponge, after just using this once, it created weird round symmetrical scratches/patterns on my silverware that I can't explain. This happened to all the stainless steel items that I was washing. Unfortunately I won't be using this anymore. Can't afford to ruin more of my silverware. So sad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a wonderful Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free 3 pack sample of the Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge and I find that it does exactly as it states. I use one in the kitchen for the most stubborn messes, and I use one in the garage to clean the most greasy car parts, and one in the bathroom to remove soap scum and hard water debris on the shower curtain. There is no mess that it cannot handle. I have found my new go to sponge for all my cleaning needs. Thank you 3M!!

Cleans well with minimal scrubbing effort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a 3 pack of Scrub Dots Sponges from 3M for evaluation and have to say I was impressed with the cleaning ability of this product.
Heeding the instructions on the package that this product may scratch, I very gently used it on a old porcelain pot that has years-old stains. It removed about 80% of the stains in a very short time with minimal scrubbing force - and with no scratches.
This sponge advertises that it will outlast 30 rolls of paper towels. I haven't used it that long yet, but I think it will last a lot longer than that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy duty scrubber

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on stuck on egg on a plate. Cleanly removed the egg and rinsed clean. I had some melted cheese in a stainless pot. It was stuck on. The scrubber did the trick and cleaned the stuck on mess. Rinsed the sponge and was good to go again.
I used the scrubber to clean my rusty steel table saw. Applied some metal cleaner and scrubbed the stains. The sponge worked well enough to remove the surface rust.
You can't use it on are coated surfaces, such as Teflon non-stick pans and pots because it could scratch.
All considered, I would buy these.

Scratch EVERYTHING

After using for less than a week, all my stainless steel pans and Henckels chef’s knives have scratch marks. Awful product.

Scratches Everything!

I bought these sponges last week. Title on the package should read “scratches things”. The feeling of the sponge, you would never expect it to scratch everything. I washed my pans, and it scratches the handles up. Use it on my silverware and scratched them as well. We just remodeled our kitchen and I tend to gently wipe my kitchen sink out with a sponge and dish soap to clean it. This sponge scratched my BRAND NEW kitchen sink. I am very disappointed with this and the damage it has done to my kitchen products. Attached are photos of the sponges, just an example of one of many silverware products and my kitchen sink you can see the scratches.

Damages everything the scrubber side touches

I purchased this product a few weeks ago as the store was out of my usual sponge and other options. It seemed safe. It has the effect of 150 grit sandpaper on the scrubber side and cuts even glass. I wish I had seen these reviews before usijg it on several itemd in my sink. I would only recommend this product if you do not care about the surface of the item you are cleaning.

Small and mighty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sponge cuts thru stuck-on stains with ease. We had a small bowl used for cottage cheese for breakfast. When I washed it after dinner, the sponge made it easy to get the gunk off. We even used the sponge to clean shower/tub and find it does a fantastic job of getting soap scum and grime off. I received the product free from 3M but these are my honest opinions of the product.
