Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was working on paper mache project when I received sponges to try. I knocked over paste and it was everywhere on ceiling, walls, and floor. One sponge cleaned it all and was still in great shape after I was done. Sponge didn't fall apart didn't take off wall paint or leave any scratch marks anywhere.

Makes cleaning dishes easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sponge makes cleaning tough messes easier with the scrub dots. The dots scrub away better than the regular green and yellow sponges. The sponge also lasts longer and is more durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a free sample of 3M Scotch Brite Scrub Dots sponges and I was happy to try them, as I needed a good sponge which could take on the stuck on messes and yet not need to be thrown away after cleaning eggs or cheese. It cleans well without scratching and also washes clean. It didn't cling to the eggs and cheese and washed right off.

Not as good as classic style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scrub Dots sponges are a classic dish sponge on one side, and a series of small, raised, bumpy dots on the other. This Heavy Duty version works fine, but I felt it didn't last as long as the traditional style, with the mesh-style scrub on one side. I felt the actual scouring ability was slightly reduced as well. Overall, not bad, but I prefer the classic style.

HEAVY DUTY SCRUBBING SPONGE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M company sent me this free Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Sponge to try out. I used it on some aluminum baking sheets to remove baked on cheese. I quickly discovered I only needed to use the sponge side and not the dots on the soft metal. I gently used the dot side to remove baked on cooking spray from the rim. It worked beautifully, but I would caution against using the dot side of the sponge on any soft metals.
My husband used it on the bottoms of several skillets and they shined right up. He used it gently on the stainless steel sink and reflector pans on our stove top to remove marks that nothing else did.
I will be using this new scrub sponge to clean unsealed paving stones in the Spring to remove discoloration and mold. I think it will also work well to scrub out flower pots before planting flowers for the patio.

Tried on some difficult surfaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am evaluating this 3M product as a free sample sent to me. I used it on the glass cooking surface of the stove and was pleased with the results because it did remove the spills easily and left it better than the polisher did. Next I tried it on the oven racks that worked but made the sponge unusable for anything else.Lastly I used it on a stain on a fiberglass sink which did work. I believe the sponge works fairly well but I would not buy this product for every day use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
