Works as good as it looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scrub dots help power through hardened on gunk and these sponges rinse clean afterward. These sponges easily clean up after the toughest jobs and are ready to tackle my toughest jobs.

Excellent sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. Right out of the package I knew it was different, it didn't smell like a regular sponge, has a very light scent to it. Nothing sticks to it,(eggs, cheese etc) it rinses clean and it works great on stuck on foods. It works just as well on non stick, no scratching . I have been using it just under a week and it has not gotten that musty smell sponges get, I left it wet on purpose overnight and it smelled fine. I really like this sponge and would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the a sample of Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges free from 3M. I'd like to say that this sponge was perfect for the job on my kitchen counters and sink and even some cookie sheets. I especially liked that I could sanitize it in the dishwasher.

After receiving the Scotch_Brite@ Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge from 3M to test i tried plain water with the sponge. It worked great on the tub surround. I also used it on the standard tub surfaces using a cleaner spray. Same good results.

Good scrubbing sponge

These sponges work really well for scrubbing off cooked on grease and food. I used them to clean my air fryer basket after cooking sausages and potatoes (which always leaves a mess) and the cooked on food and grease came right off. I also used them on some regular pots & pans and they worked great. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any 3M products.

Works like a regular sponge

I tried cooking all kinds of crazy food in different pots, leaving them a couple days to dry to test the sponge against my other normal 3M sponge and my handled dish scraper.
I also left food on my counter, stove and sink overnight to see how the sponge faired.
It took the same amount of scrubbing with my hands and water as a normal sponge took to get the leftover food off.
It faired just as well as a sanitizing wipe at getting the food off the counter top.
After all this work, there was some grease on the sponge. The directions said I could put it in the dishwasher, so I did. Unfortunately the grease stains stayed.
It's nothing special compared to a normal 3M kitchen sponge. Sorry!

Good abrasive scrub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was given this to test out. I normally by 3M scotch brite heavy duty sponges. Yellow bottom and green fuzzy top. So in comparison this scrub dots sponge doesn’t fray as easily as my normal sponge. This also definitely has a more abrasive scrub to it! Great on PYREX with baked on ingredients, I wouldn’t use the dots side on your Teflon pans or copper coated pans. I think it’s too harsh for those surfaces. In general around the kitchen it’s great for dried drips and food on countertops, etc.... I find this a great supplement to my cleaning supplies.

Innovative reinvention!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free from 3M in exchange for my honest review. We've all used scrubbing sponges. They hold out until they fall apart or become too disgusting to try to clean. These Scotch Brite scrubbing sponges with "scrub dots" are a vast improvement on scrubbing sponges. I went to try it after breakfast to find my husband christened it the night before and as usual didn't rinse it out. Remnants of stromboli, cheese and marinara were there to greet me. To my surprise the sponge rinsed clean! Moving on to my once "nonstick" pan I was ready to apply the usual elbow grease when a couple of swipes proved to easily lift off the egg coating. Same with the plastic spatula that has many rough spots from years scraping hot pans. The scrubbing side with "scrub dots" felt like it made more contact with the surfaces to be cleaned. You can feel the difference and my spatula looked cleaner than ever. I also used it on a sheet pan that held chicken and asparagus the night before. I did let it soak all night, just because I didn't feel like washing it then. Even so, the sheet pan was cleaner than ever. The scrub dots removed baked on residue that I thought was now part of the pan. In addition the food falls right off of the sponge which is what contributes to their short life span and odor even when rinsing well. I will now be using these instead of brillo pads as I don't like the soap they contain and only last for 1 use. I will continue to use these great scrubbers... My verdict?... I love them!
