Elegant and clever.

Excellent travel bag for my photography gear. I can squeeze in more than expected in my 21L. The camera cube was a little smaller than expected, but still was able to squeeze my camera, frfadapter and canonef2470mm intact; and still fit: canon100400 and batteries/charger in camera cube. If you have the newer lighter RF lenses, you will be set. Also fit a 13 laptop (in a sleeve) and tablet. Can fit my 70200f28 on top compartment without unwrapping top. Can unwrap the top to fit a 2XL sweater and blanket. Or place them on the front and bottom straps if you don’t need room for tripod and water bottle. Go with the 31 or larger if you need to squeeze in more gear. I wasn’t sure I was going to like the foldable top but I like the ability to squeeze in more stuff. Truly love this elegant bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it’s large enough to do a grocery store strip by bike, and you really do get a lot of extra room rolling it out.. I love that the camera cube fits my Fuji XT5 and my Pentax K1000 plus a couple of lenses. I love how comfortable the bag is, and the waist strap makes a big difference in carrying heavy loads.

Maybe, almost, just about...perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A new level in photo-centric carry-ons, with real day-pack capability. More comfortable on my back than almost any other pack. The clever padding, waist-belt and sternum straps encourage me to use the Privke forany day-hike. Very high quality construction. Innovative organization and access—since I’ll have the pack off my back when needing to get to most items, putting the main opening on the strap side, against my back, seems so much better protected from weather or pilfering when wearing the thing, than the more typical main access on the exposed side of the pack. Really looking forward to an upcoming trip using the Privke! I wish the zippers moved a bit more easily and would prefer light colored material(s) on the inside for better visibility but overall: really promising product, clearly built to withstand very hard use.
