[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this bag for a little over a year and a half now and I absolutely love it! I travel on planes pretty consistently with all of my camera gear in it and haven’t had any problems size wise! It fits so much gear and holds up so well in the weather! I’d better be buried with this bag when I die!
I was gifted the larger one--Best Backpack i've owned! I immediately bought this one as well for travel as it's a bit smaller. I use them both constantly, and I am asked on almost every trip where I got it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw that my coworker had this bag. I loved it and ordered! Its so functional. I am not doing any professional photography but I love the functionality and how durable its for rain etc. I just live how aesthetically it is great too! I have 31L and it CAN BECOME HUGE! I can fit everything for my daily or weekend trips. Love it !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 sizes. 21 and 31L I use one for a camera /equipment bag and the other for a bike/etc bagI only wish tge top zipper compartment wasn't there and the laptop and tablet sleeves were bigger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed with this bag and probably wouldn’t bring it on any future trips. The camera access functionality is useful, and the aesthetic of the bag is cool, but there are a few serious issues (at least with this v3 model):- zippers are quite hard to pull, especially when the bag is fully packed- access to non camera gear is annoying-one has to unroll the top to access anything. This makes getting anything out of the bag surprisingly time consuming if you are used to regular backpacks or messenger bags. - weight distribution is not great, and I’ve hurt my back carrying the bag around when fully packed (laptop, camera + 2 lenses, water bottle). - not clear if it is possible to use the bag as a regular backpack, where anything can be accessed via a he top pouch. - sternum strap is a bit challenging to reattach. It doesn’t - the bag itself is quite bulky, both in terms of weight and the way it hangs off your back (more like a hiking bag than a backpack).- there is an external pouch for water bottles and tripods. One would need a very short or very long water bottle for it to attach securely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter introduced me to this company-she is a talented photographer (I am not a photographer) and she travels everywhere with the prvke and the backpack-also the rogue, for work, leisure. She loves the design and so I first bought the rogue for a trip abroad. I have a small camera as an artist, I also fit my travel watercolor kit/sketchbook and backup batteries, chargers. Absolutely the best bag. I loved the rogue but also wanted a larger backpack that could hold more things and had the same thoughtful and rugged organizational design- and waterproof - for longer more remote hikes. We travel with so many electronic items these days and the organizational pockets are fantastic. Thanks for making a great product!!
I've shopped and shopped and finally decided I'm happy with this bag! Construction is solid, plenty of organization options, variety of ways to get into it, holds a big water bottle, comfortable to wear for extended periods (get the optional hip belt!) and holds a good amount of gear. I've only had it for about a month... spent 2 weeks on the road and 2 weeks as daily carry to the office. For me the 31L is a great balance of not being too bulky but still able to haul some gear. I'm not running this as a camera bag, just a travel pack. @WANDRD a couple enhancement opportunities: would love some molle loops on the front or side of the bag for accessories, and if you did a run in a lighter fabric I'd buy a second one. It's a bit on the heavy side.
