Nice Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the bag and thoughtfulness of the features is amazing. I do have a few nitpicks- It is indeed difficult to access the top part of the bag quickly. If you're stuck with it in between your feet on an airplane you have to either slide your hand in the top of the clamshell zip without things falling out or unfurl the top of the bag and reach all the way down there to get something. Also one of the uses shown for the removable straps, is to hold open the computer portion of the bag half way so it doesn't flop down flat on the table. I was hoping to use those straps for that, but when they are clipped to the top of the flap where the computer slides in, it's almost impossible to get the computer in and out. I am even afraid the metal part of the straps will scratch the computer as I am quickly trying to wrangle it out of the sleeve. These are very specific issues with how I use the bag but I thought perhaps relevant to others. I got it in the tan color and it's just as I was hoping for- a bit lighter than in the product photos. I am 5' 4" with a small frame. I got the 21L and I am glad I didn't go for the 31L. It can fit everything I need and feels comfortable on. All in all, it is a beautifully crafted and well thought out bag that I will use for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been getting nagging emails to give a review, but I haven’t had the bag for very long and I’ve only worn it for one day. So far, it’s only okay. I bought this bag because it is the closest camera bag size to Icelandair’s personal item size requirements with a little bit of squishing that I could find that wasn’t the lite version, and seems fairly water resistant. It looks nice. I’m hoping to also use this as my normal daily camera bag. My experience: The bottom of the bag digs into my spine where my butt begins to curve out- I’m hoping that with wearing it more it’ll either soften, or I’ll have on ski jacket + pants that might give some cushion. However, I’ll be screwed in warmer months. I don’t find the backpack straps all that comfortable as well. Very stiff until I break them in, I guess. I haven’t tried the sternum strap, and I also got waist straps with the cube pro bundle that I need to try. I do fear that this bag is more for the masculine body type and not very unisex.Speaking of the pro cube, I don’t like that you can’t separate the cube from the roll-top section since you roll back the entire top. (unless I missed something?) Also, for its price, I’m disappointed that the rain fly doesn’t come with it, and it was sold out when I tried to get it. Using this bag for a winter Iceland trip, I’ll have to get some sort of waterproof rain covering because of the potential terrible weather. So yeah, overall I am not that impressed.

Great camera bag

He got the 31L as it's not too big to feel cumbersome but large enough to fit everything he has starting out as a photography major, with room to grow. Sadly, his laptop does not fit but that is the only "complaint ". I also got the recommended camera cube. He hasn't had time to spend getting it set up to his liking so I can't testify to its actual usefulness. He says he feels it will meet his long term needs. I like that it has a lifetime warranty and is rain proof.

Awesome Travel Photo Backpack

Very Versatile

There are a lot of different compartments with sturdy, waterproof zipper linings so you know they won’t move around or accidentally unzip. You can fit a lot in the 31 Liter backpack, and it’s nice that you are able to take out the photo cube in case you want to just use it as a regular backpack. I like to keep my A-camera on the top-side of the camera cube, and I love how I can just unroll the bag and grab it from the top instead of unzipping the entire backpack. The “secret” zipper for your passport or anything else you’d want to keep hidden is or pretty cool too. Lastly, the padding that you feel on your back while wearing it is very, very nice. With all my equipment, the backpack easily becomes 20+ lbs but it’s still comfortable to walk around in. Great job WANDRD!

Great travel bag for clothing and laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this bag for a week-long work trip where I had to bring a laptop, some electronics, and clothing. I usually travel with a small backpack and suitcase, but found that this satisfied all my carrying needs. Once I arrived at my destination, I removed my packing cubes full of clothing, left those at the hotel, and converted the bag to a daily carry bag.

Excellent technical bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is super high quality with tons of different ways to store things. The only bummer is the laptop sleeve is super tight on my 16in, so much so that I can't really fit a tablet in the connected tablet sleeve, which also makes all the little zippers on the front storage of that same section super tight to fit things into. But the bag has plenty of other storage areas. I love the color and the expandable top section, I plan on using this for commuting to work and all my business trips.
