All New PRVKE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in hopes it could be an everyday use and photography backpack. It can do one or the other, but not both. So for this review I will compare it to my previous camera backpack. From a quality standpoint it is a made out of very good material and seems to be made well. If it comfortable to the extent I have worn it to date but I have issues with the functionality. I have used a Tarion Pro for the last 4ish years and it was rather bulky and ridged, so the PRVKE is intended to replace the Tarion, and be an upgrade given the cost is a big upgrade. The PRVKE and the camera insert seem to act pretty good as stand alone units, but when you assemble them they almost fight each other. They both have side access pockets, so you either have to zip and unzip two pockets and get things through two pockets when accessing, or tuck the inside pocket out of the way, thus making the bag bulky. The same thing happens with the access to the main compartments. It seems like a small thing, until you start to try and getting equipment in and out. Than it really become an issue. When the camera inset is on its own, this is not a problem, you have all the room to open and close at will, and when the backpack is stand alone the access is fine. but when you combine them, the two part access is pretty bad. The marketing also talks extensively about the number of pockets and places to put things, and I in comparison I do not think there are nearly enough pockets, at least as I was moving stuff from the Tarion, I ran out of pockets and had to start combing things and just not putting things in the back pack because there was not enough space. So I do not feel the new setup is as well organized as my old setup. Again, was looking for comparable or an upgrade based on the cost, and I do not think this got there, more a step back. As I said earlier the padding and pockets are all very good quality and I did not have a problem finding places for the larger equipment, the issue was accessing it once it was in the pockets. So over all, I think the backpack will be functional, and so far a bit more comfortable , but I cannot agree with the marketing that this is the very best backpack by any measure. It has some things that are better than a much less expensive backpack, but an equal number of things are quite less appealing. Can not say I recommend, but also would not say I would not purchase, just know it is not all that it is advertised to be. And the whole top pocket where with the roll up close out. I guess that is for bulk overflow like cloths and stuff, but again very non-functional for day to day use, so for me most of the time it is wasted space.

Really well made bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a recent “re-entry” into hobby photography. I’m shooting w an OM-1 and a pile of M.Z lenses, and I’m mostly traveling by commercial planes and cars — not hiking 200 miles into the wilderness.I’ve recently bought a Peak Design backpack, and was frustrated with its lack of configurability: all the dividers must go horizontally. My Wandrd PRVKE bag is FAR more configurable for the lenses, body and stuff I want to carry. Here’s what I’m NOT so happy with:1. The inside of the bag is black, so all my black gear visually disappears inside... I wish it was some glaring bright color inside the bag to help visibility.2. I wish there were a few more pockets for small things like cables chargers filters mount plates etc etc. 3. The sternum strap clip is completely dependent on the strength of a tiny little plastic lip. I don’t like this, but in all fairness, it hasn’t failed yet. (Ask me again in a year.)Here’s what I LIKE about this bag:1. I can slide my laptop in between the photo insert and the rear-most, outside of the bag so it is NOT against my back when I’m all strapped up. (I’m not happy with a perfectly flat laptop strapped against my back — it just seems like I’m going to bend the laptop when I cinch up the shoulder straps. This bag allows slipping the laptop away from my back, unstressed by the shoulder straps.)2. The overall build quality is really great, and except for my quibble about the sternum strap buckle, the hardware and materials are great.3. The photo insert allows any configuration of dividing up the space to fit your lenses and bodies. THIS is so important to me, and is why I’m really happy with this bag.4. Lastly, access into the bag is very easy with those big YKK zippers that expose the entire contents quickly. Overall, this bag has taken me out of the camera bag market — great job, Wandrd!(Now, I’d like to buy a vowel please...?)

Great as a camera bag and as an everyday briefcase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the original Provoke for several years as my daily photographer's briefcase and occasional camera bag, and it's excellent! The camera cube is great for a complete rangefinder kit or a small SLR kit, although I do like the thinner style of the old velcro dividers than the thicker ones in my "All-New" bag. The new pockets on the laptop compartment are a welcome addition. I would recommend stretchy elastic sides of that laptop compartment would be a helpful upgrade to the next iteration, as well as an organizer for a few pens and pencils in an exterior pocket. Other than that, it's really got everything I need for carrying a computer, papers, water bottle, tech accessories, lunch, and a small camera kit. It has even come in handy as a daypack for a snowshoeing trip, in a pinch!

Falling In Love Over and Over Again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I literally have fallen in love with Wandrd. It started with a demo at the BH Build Expo 2023 from a rep who was just the best. We spoke about Japan and my future travels. The bag allows me to design different setups with the straps, carry more with the roll top, and have a sexy way of showing it. Durable, comfortable, it’s everything I ever wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on the search for a new camera bag with more storage because I recently purchased another camera and my old bag just wasn’t cutting it anymore so after a little research, I decided to purchase the new PRVKE bag and I absolutely love it. It has so much storage that I honestly don’t even know what to do with yet and weight distribution is very awesome. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anybody who uses their camera bag for every day travel.

21 Liter PRVKE Rocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Pro Camera Cube installed it fits my full frame Canon 5d mkiii with the 24-70 attached. Still has room to fit my 70-200. There is still some space to fit a 50 mm and other small items in the upper section of the cube. It has a slim profile and should easily fit under an airline seat. My camera is too large for the side access but I didn't really intend to use it like that anyhow. My WANDRD collection now includes the 21L PRVKE, the 9L Rouge sling, the D1 fanny bag, and the small and medium tech bags. Yes, I am a fan. I'll probably add the 6L Rouge sling pretty soon too.
