Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only big gripe I have about the bag is how dark and cavernous is when I open up the roll top. I've had the bag about a week now and it's the only literal complaint I have about it. Hoping in future bags they would use white or orange interiors to make finding things easier.

Finally found the perfect bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using the prvke for about a month now, mainly while skiing. The camera cube easily fits a DJI mini, gopro, and my rebel. Everything has stayed completely dry even in heavy wet snow conditions. The roll top is large enough for a packable puffer, hat and gloves, food etc. The gear straps were beefy enough to hold a pair skis and poles. I ordered the tech pouch with it to hold extra batteries, sd cards, external hard drive etc and am very happy with it. I purchased this bag with the hopes to consolidate into 1 bag and so far this bag is it.

I'm a TV news field producer which means getting sent places last minute and never knowing what curve balls lie ahead. My bags are always packed and I'm limited to carry-on only due to the need for speed. The 41L PRVKE replaced a lineage of High Sierra backpacks that served me well over probably a decade. Every pocket had its purpose. The PRVKE is a little intimidating at first. It takes some getting used to, not unlike a Volkswagen. My gadgetry includes 2 phones, a wireless mic system, two tablets, a laptop and a veritable plethora of cables, dongles, and do-dads. I'm still fine-tuning the pocketry. Being an air traveler means I'd rather have the car keys safely behind several zippers. And I need a couple of charging cables more readily available. But these issues are minute compared to the bliss of PRVKE's cavernous monstrosity of a main compartment. Sure, I can fit a camera in there and that's helpful. But I can also fit a foot-long sub plus my book and a jacket, and that's golden when going through airports.

Black 31L - Great work & travel hybrid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the built quality of the backpack. The 31L option is a good middle ground between short-term travel & daily use/work. The clamshell opening makes grabbing my laptop super easy. I liked the zipper on the water bottle pocket. It can comfortably fit larger water bottles, and the zipper takes the bulkiness away when you are not using it. I enjoyed the attention to detail in the design. For everyday use, the zippers, the pockets, and the sleeves are more than enough to keep my things well organized. For longer-term use (and if you care about backpack organization as I do), you might want to invest in a tech kit/electronics bag to go with this backpack. I'm pretty sure the photography add-ons can be repurposed for traveling or to store electronics neatly, but I didn't go that route.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had the chance to travel with this pack yet so perhaps take this review with a grain of salt. I have, however, taken the time to test it out with my gear (camera and audio). So far, I love it and I think it's going to make traveling to visit family and friends after a long period of isolation much easier. The only thing I'm not sure about is the size. I opted for the 31L, so I knew it would be bigger. I'm not sure this is even a criticism since I chose the larger option. My hope for this pack was one part travel and one part daily carry. Looking for the impossible perhaps, but I wish I could have compared this to the 21L version. I imagine the smaller version would have limited me a little too much as I often travel with audio gear. That said, I am still left wondering if I should have gone for the 21L.
