The Perfect Flawed Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To help with anyone considering this backpack, I will make a simple checklist for what is not a simple question.1. Can you deal with a Rolltop? The benefit of the expandable roll top is a huge strength when it comes to the unknown nature of what you need to bring (compared to the harder to access rigid bottom camera section) but you need to accept first that it is not a silent instant access. It is a a side grade. Gaining usefulness and versatility at the cost of speed and uniformity. 2. Can you organize effectively.This backpack is only as useful as you are at organizing it. After spending a night thinking and setting up the camera cube section, attaching a medium tech bag, and coming to terms with the lack of abundant instant access compartments, this backpack became my absolute darling and favorite to use ever. But without any of that? Any department store generic would do a better job for the uninclined to plan their usage (at a a cost of usefulness of course)3. Pick your size carefully.For my needs and packing, I needed the 31L version, but be warned of the negatives of such a larger backpack. Effectively laying out your wanted gear and knowing the minimum backpack you need to carry it is needed before blindly buying the size backpack you think you want. The 31L is not light carry, but I would not consider it a huge backpack. A middle ground of “significant but very manageable”. If my stuff fit in an 11l or 21l would enjoy the smaller easier backpack.Important final thoughts. Yes, a backpack that works for you truly can make your daily life that much more efficient, enjoyable, and prepared, but it is on you to know what you need, regardless of marketing. This backpack has been amazing for me (durable, no worry, versatile, aesthetic) but you must realize that only you can know what backpack or any bag is best for the specific things you need from it. I recommend keeping weight and dimensions in mind when planning these things.Tl;dr: rolltop trades speed for versatility, get the camera cube and a tech bag, organize and plan effectively before blaming false marketing. Great backpack if you like its strengths. Top tier construction. But think first, take a couple days.

PRVKE as the Mother Pack along with a Rouge Sling 6L

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have both the PRVKE 31 and the Rogue 6L sling. I primarily use the PRVKE as my mother pack and reconfigure it depending on my needs: business travel with a small briefcase inside and room for outerwear, day treks with the removable waist belt, and photography travel where I can put the 6L sling in the bottom as a removable padded storage device (with the strap in the front pocket) and then use the expandable side pocket for a tripod. Both bags are extremely well made, and the Aegean blue is a great color. The Rogue sling holds my 4/3 camera and two lenses with room to spare. I can also put an iPad Mini in the rear pocket. The PRVKE is a convenient size, with the additional expansion of the roll top. The top pocket is perfect for glasses, wallet, and phone, and the hidden pockets are useful: not too big, not too small. I do not use the built-in dividers for storing photo equipment, as the sling serves that purpose. I have many different bags for work and leisure, and I would say my Wandrd products are up there in terms of quality design and build.

My only worry is the fact the entire pack is held in place via the zipper. should that fail the whole thing could just open while on your back. having the straps affix behind the zippered flap seems more ideal. but luckily a lot of long term reviews have not noted that as an actual problem.

Great backpack for work as a sports creative

Perfect size bag for my photography gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 31L is big enough for a dslr and 2 cameras plus all accessories I have. The laptop sleeve can fit a 16” macbook pro easily, as compared to the 21L. The color blue looks really nice and classy but also rugged cause of the bag style. I love it. Will get more wandrd bags again!
